  • Patent number: 12070806
Abstract: A cam lock connected with a fence assembly includes a handle portion, a top carrier and a bottom carrier connected by a threaded shaft. The handle portion and top carrier are positioned above the fence assembly and a work table or surface; wherein the bottom carrier is positioned below the fence assembly and work table or surface. The top carrier and bottom carrier both have a pair of alignment arms with a space positioned therebetween, the alignment arms of the top carrier nest with the alignment arms of the bottom carrier. The handle portion and top carrier both have cam surfaces that engage one another such that when the handle portion is rotated around the axis of the threaded shaft the handle portion is raised or lowered thereby raising or lowering the bottom carrier, thereby locking or unlocking the fence assembly in a quick, durable, easy and accurate manner.

  • Patent number: 11364550
Abstract: A quick adjust ratcheting pocket hole jig is presented. The pocket hole jig has a base with a removable upright connected thereto. A guide assembly is slidably received within the upright. Removable and replaceable side supports are connected to the base by way of a dove tail joint. Removable and replaceable adjustable stops are connected to the base by way of key holes. A clamp assembly is connected to the base having a handle portion and a clamp follower. The clamp follower has a ratcheting mechanism and a compressible plunger assembly. The clamp follower can quickly be adjusted using a button on the clamp follower that disengages the ratcheting member such that it can be quickly adjusted. When the handle is operated, it draws the clamp follower towards the upright and guide assembly compressing the spring loaded plunger assembly thereby quickly and tightly and adjustably holding a workpiece therebetween.

  • Patent number: 11325215
Abstract: A guided circular saw system having a track and a ramp that is connected to a benchtop by a pair of hinge members. Hinge members are formed of a top section, a middle section and a bottom section and facilitate raising and lowering of the track in a quick and easy manner without tools. The track is raised to facilitate placing a workpiece under the track and then the track is lowered in place thereby engaging and holding the workpiece in place. A sled attached to a cutting device and the sled and cutting device slides along the track thereby cutting the workpiece. The track includes sacrificial grip strips that extend along the sides of the track and include an upper layer of material that is rigid and a lower layer of material that is compressible and has a high coefficient of friction and thereby holds the workpiece in place.

  • Publication number: 20200391303
Abstract: An infinity jig, infinity plug and a method of forming an infinity joint is presented. The infinity jig has a base with a work surface and an upright with a work surface connected to the base at an approximate perpendicular alignment. The upright includes a plurality of drill guides that are positioned such that a portion of a drill bit inserted into the drill guide extends below the work surface of the base. An infinity hole is formed by using a drill bit having a stop collar to drill partially into a workpiece with a portion of the drill bit exiting a connecting surface of the work piece. To form an infinity joint, two workpieces having infinity holes therein are aligned with one another and an infinity plug is inserted in the aligned infinity holes. The infinity plug pulls the two workpieces together providing a tight and aesthetically pleasing joint.
