Abstract: A method of incorporating taggants into a packaging blank or blanks wherein an adhesive compound used to seal a container formed from the blank includes a taggant incorporated therein such that the doped adhesive compound facilitates the authentication of the container. The invention further provides a packaging blank or blanks having a doped adhesive compound positioned on selected portions of the blank such that taggants in the doped adhesive compound function to authenticate the blank or container formed from the blank.

Abstract: A container is provided with a simple opening and closure mechanism which provides for easy reclosure of the container. A user may grasp a reclosable flap and move the flap between open and closed positions to effect opening and closure of the container. The reclosable flap may overlay a container lid such that the container lid is kept in a closed position when the reclosable flap overlays the container lid with the reclosable flap in its closed position. The container may be open and closed several times, and a seal may be maintained in the vicinity of the reclosable flap even after multiple uses of the container.

The container is provided with a dispensing portion sized according to the size of the objects contained within the container such that the objects are dispensed only when desired. The dispensing portion is provided opposite an access opening allowing a user to use the dispensing portion in combination with the access opening to conveniently dispense the objects as required and further to prevent unintended dispensing of the contained items.
