  • Patent number: 12196036
Abstract: A wet glazing shield gasket includes a support portion and a sweep that extends from the support portion and that terminates at a barrier lip. The sweep is supported for resilient flexure between a neutral position and a flexed position relative to the support portion. Furthermore, the barrier lip is configured to engage a glazing unit for collapsing the sweep onto the support portion as the sweep flexes away from the neutral position and toward the flexed position. The sweep is configured to extend between the frame and the glazing unit and to be a barrier for the seal member as the sweep flexes away from the neutral position and toward the flexed position. • Publication number: 20250013382
Abstract: Exemplary methods, apparatuses, and systems include a quick charge loss (QCL) mitigation manager for controlling writing data bits to a memory device. The QCL mitigation manager receives a first set of data bits for programming to memory. The QCL mitigation manager writes a first subset of data bits of the first set of data bits to a first memory block of the memory during a first pass of programming. The QCL mitigation manager writes a second subset of data bits of the first set of data bits to the first memory block during a second pass of programming in response to determining that the threshold delay is satisfied.

  • Publication number: 20250011216
Abstract: Systems and methods for remediating streak in glass ribbons formed from glass forming processes are disclosed. The systems include a laser that produces a stationary laser beam having a wavelength of from about 1 ?m to about 12 ?m and a beam width less than or equal to a full width half maximum of a change in the thickness of the glass ribbon over a streak width at a streak location and optical components to condition and direct the laser beam at the streak location. The methods include forming the glass ribbon, identifying a streak in the glass ribbon, and directing the laser beam at the streak location. The laser beam heats the glass ribbon at the location of the streak, which reduces a viscosity of the glass ribbon to cause glass thinning that reduces the severity of the streak.

Abstract: Technologies for a field effect transistor (FET) with a ferroelectric gate dielectric are disclosed. In an illustrative embodiment, a transistor includes a gate of strontium ruthenate and a ferroelectric gate dielectric layer of barium titanate. In order to prevent migration of ruthenium from the strontium ruthenate to the barium titanate, a barrier layer is placed between the gate and the ferroelectric gate dielectric layer. The barrier layer may be a metal oxide, such as strontium oxide, barium oxide, zirconium oxide, etc.

  • Patent number: 12183739
Abstract: Integrated circuitry comprising a ribbon or wire (RoW) transistor stack within which the transistors have different threshold voltages (Vt). In some examples, a gate electrode of the transistor stack may include only one workfunction metal. A metal oxide may be deposited around one or more channels of the transistor stack as a solid-state source of a metal oxide species that will diffuse toward the channel region(s). As diffused, the metal oxide may remain (e.g., as a silicate, or hafnate) in close proximity to the channel region, thereby altering the dipole properties of the gate insulator material. Different channels of a transistor stack may be exposed to differing amounts or types of the metal oxide species to provide a range of Vt within the stack. After diffusion, the metal oxide may be stripped as sacrificial, or retained.

  • Publication number: 20240425367
Abstract: An alignment recess formed in a cover substrate such as a cover for a MEMS device allows a second substrate to be bonded to the cover substrate. The alignment recess is larger than the second substrate and has two corner regions diagonally opposite each other where a wall of the recess protrudes to form a notch. The notch is dimensioned such that when the second substrate is disposed within the recess with two opposing corners surrounded by respective notches of the recess, the angular position of the second substrate relative to the cover substrate can be controlled to within a desired amount of rotation.

  • Publication number: 20240425364
Abstract: Alignment features formed on a cover substrate allow for a second substrate to be bonded to the cover substrate while ensuring that the second substrate is not titled with respect to a plane defined by the alignment features. Die attachment material is patterned such that it deforms or flows underneath the second substrate while allowing corners of the second substrate to rest on landing areas that are elevated above the top surface of the cover substrate. Some of the landing areas may include additional features that are elevated above the landing areas to form notches which constrain the rotational position of the second in addition to its tilt.
