Abstract: This patent pertains to a work piece clamping system with manual or powered clamping. Work piece locations of all three axis can be determined from the device. Various clamping devices can be included in the system. Single or multiple work pieces of various sizes and shapes can be clamped.

Abstract: This patent relates to a system for rotating work pieces about a horizontal center line so that one or more sides can be machined with out the need of re-clamping. Pallets or log pallets may be used for holding work pieces so the pallets with work pieces can be removed from the machine for parts handling or set-up. Related improvements are described: A rotary table that reduces angular error caused by off center weight, protection from damage caused by inadvertent crash impact, protection from pallets falling from inadvertent unclamping and improved cleaning of pallet locating surfaces. An off machine parts loading index station that prevents inadvertent release of the pallet and provides the optimum ratio between the manual crank and the pallet rotation. A powered actuator that can be used with means for transferring pallets between the machining center and index stations or index and support stations that are mounted to mobile carts.

Abstract: This invention describes a method and apparatus for a liquid dispensing cartridge pump suitable for dispensing reagent in an automatic system. In embodiments, the present invention may include a liquid metering chamber that accurately controls the amount of fluid dispensed. In other embodiments, the amount of fluid may be controlled by the action of a diaphragm, which may be assembled into a cavity of a dispenser housing creating a metering chamber. In another embodiment, the volume created by the metering chamber determines the volume of dispensed fluid. When the diaphragm is compressed from its free or extended state to its inverted state, it may substantially conform to the inner surface of the metering chamber. The fluid enters the metering chamber through an upper unidirectional valve and exits the dispenser housing through a lower unidirectional valve.

Abstract: A computer software method for multiple track time line display with document links by accessing digital information, where the digital information includes an information track. The digital information is displayed by juxtaposing at least two views of the information track on a display. Each view of the information track is separately scrolled and a hotspot on the at least one information track allows navigation by activating the hotspot, where the hotspot links to digital information related to the information track.
