Publication number: 20230207385Abstract: Systems, devices, and techniques for creating blind annular vias for metallized vias are described. For example, a vortex beam may be applied to an optically transmissive substrate, where the vortex beam may modify a portion of the substrate in an annular shape. The annular shape may extend from a surface of the substrate to a depth that is less than a thickness of the substrate, and the annular shape may have an annular width (e.g., a ring width) that is the same for various diameters of the annular shape. A blind annular via may be formed by etching the modified portion of the substrate, where the blind annular via may include a pillar comprising the same material as the surrounding substrate. In addition, a metallized annular via may be created by filling the blind annular via with a conductive material, and removing a portion of the substrate opposite the surface.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 14, 2021Publication date: June 29, 2023Inventors: Patrick Scott Leslie, Chukwudi Azubuike Okoro

Publication number: 20140245933Abstract: The invention is a wheeled device that provides a base to place all items stored underneath a bed. It enables the user to: 1) fully utilize the entire space underneath their bed. 2) Organize their items in a manner of their choosing (i.e. storage containers) and quickly access those items. 3) Prevent damage to stored items as it provides a “moveable” floor (i.e. no dragging items across floor). The invention provides a low profile wheeled platform by using two hinged bases together that unfold and form a single platform. Each half of the platform is supported by 4 casters each and handles located on the front serve as devices to push or pull the entire platform into place. The platform is without sides by design so that objects of any shape or size can be placed onto the platform. The invention can be folded, latched and easily transported with its handles.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 3, 2013Publication date: September 4, 2014Inventors: Christi Ann Leslie, Gordon Scott Leslie
