    Abstract: A follicle container includes a receptacle to hold a hair follicle extracted from skin by a follicle extractor; a conduit, coupleable with the follicle extractor, to convey the extracted hair follicle toward the receptacle; and an injector to aerosolize and inject an irrigant into the conduit while the extracted hair follicle travels toward the receptacle. By injecting an irrigant into the conduit, the extracted follicle is less likely to be damaged on its journey to the receptacle. The irrigant lubricates the interior wall of the conduit and thus reduces friction between the extracted follicle and the wall as the follicle travels in the conduit. The irrigant also washes the interior of the conduit and keeps the extracted follicle moist and flexible. Flexibility allows the follicle to more easily suffer without damage bumps with the wall of the conduit and/or other extracted follicles as the follicle travels in the conduit.

The second node and third node include configuration for electrically coupling between a tip of the dental instrument and an electrode coupled with a body tissue of the patient, a stimulation signal being defined across the second node and the third node. The apparatus also includes a microprocessor operable to compare the stimulation signal and the divider signal, and generate a proximity signal in response to the comparison, and a proximity indicator that indicates the proximity of the dental instrument to the apical foramen in response to the proximity signal.

    Abstract: The present invention provides motor systems that a dental or medical practitioner can quickly prepare for a dental/medical procedure and can quickly modify an operational parameter of a tool connected to the system during a procedure without increasing the risk of contaminating the procedure's sterile environment by speaking commands into a microphone of the system. The motor system can include a motor providing an output for powering a tool connected to the system, a pump that can move irrigating fluid toward or away from a tool, a data input component that can include a microphone that can receive spoken audio voice data, and a processing component that can identify a command in the spoken audio voice data and can modify the output of the motor, pump or both. The processing component can also include a memory for storing motor-output-data that can include a value for any desired motor output parameter, like, speed and direction of rotation, torque and torque threshold.
