Publication number: 20240296130Abstract: Various embodiments include a network for transmitting data words from a source node to a destination node. The source node optionally inverts the logic levels of each data word so that the number of logic ‘1’ bits in each data word is less than or equal to half of the data bits. The destination node recovers the original data words by passing the data words not inverted by the source node and inverting the data words that were inverted by the source node. As the packet is transmitted through the network, each node encodes and/or decodes the data words by generating an output transition for each logic ‘1’ bit of the input data word. Because no more than half the bits of the input data word are logic ‘1’ bits, the node generates output transitions for no more than one half of the data bits.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 2, 2023Publication date: September 5, 2024Inventors: Anurag CHAUDHARY, Scott Matthew PITKETHLY, Peter Lindsay GENTLE

Patent number: 11210501Abstract: In a system for video data capture and sharing client devices may include one or more video cameras and sensors to capture video data and to generate associated metadata. A cloud-based component may receive metadata from the client devices and requests for sharing video data captured by other client devices. The system can be used to implement a ridesharing method to connect a rider to a driver. Information about the driver and rider is accessed when a driver accepts a ridesharing request. Camera devices in the pickup area can detect the license plate of the driver's vehicle to confirm its arrival and a client device in the vehicle can facially recognize the driver at the wheel. Similarly, the location of the rider in the pickup area can be verified, for example through a face recognition scan.Type: GrantFiled: January 2, 2019Date of Patent: December 28, 2021Assignee: XIRGO TECHNOLOGIES, LLCInventors: Andrew Hodge, Nathan Ackerman, Jean-Paul Labrosse, Phillip Lucas Williams, Scott Lindsay Sullivan, Jason Matthew Alderman

Patent number: 9613190Abstract: An example method for managing digital rights management (DRM) protected content sharing in a networked secure collaborative computer data exchange environment includes establishing, by a secure exchange facility and managed by an intermediate organizational entity, a procedure that allows a user from a first entity to share access to computer data content with a user from a second entity based on indicated access rights. The method includes transforming the computer data content into DRM protected content, utilizing a DRM engine provided by a separate entity. The method includes granting access to the content to the second user, providing permissioned control to entities utilizing a number of data storage nodes, and managing secure data exchange of the content and metadata, without the secure exchange facility having access to the content. The method includes operations to support content services including data transformation, filtering, analytics, and searching tools for the content.Type: GrantFiled: April 22, 2015Date of Patent: April 4, 2017Assignee: Intralinks, Inc.Inventors: Christopher Todd Ford, Visal Chandrakant Acharya, Richard David Anstey, Wasif Qayyum Awan, Amir M. Patent number: 9509466Abstract: In a network, a first network station (61) communicates with a second network station (65) using a first channel (45) from a plurality of channels. The first channel (45) has a central frequency (46). A third network station (62) communicates using a sub-channel (55) of the first channel (45). The sub-channel overlaps the first channel (45). The sub-channel (55) has a center frequency (56) that varies sufficiently from the center frequency (46) of the first channel (45) so that the first network station (61) and the second network station (65) do not lock onto packets transmitted from the third network station (62). The center frequency (56) of the sub-channel (55) is closer in frequency to the center frequency (46) of the first channel (45) than to a center frequency of any other channel in the plurality of channels.Type: GrantFiled: April 27, 2012Date of Patent: November 29, 2016Assignee: Hewlett Packard Enterprise Development LPInventors: Thomas Hogan, Jeongkeun Lee, Scott A.
