  • Publication number: 20070283326
Abstract: A method, system and computer-usable medium for setting performance milestones and monitoring their achievement toward a target goal through a graphical user interface. Intermediate performance milestone values are edited by applying configuration data that operate with performance algorithms to more accurately define expected performance over a predetermined time period. The system provides users with rules, policies, and/or constraints, which define and bound dependencies associated with intermediate performance milestones, which in turn can be automatically adjusted to accommodate various users. One or more graphical depictions show boundary information that define movement limits of intermediate points, which can be set in either direction based on dynamic evaluation of existing points and their associated rules, policies, and constraints.

  • Patent number: 7269792
Abstract: A system and method for generating high-function browser widgets with full addressability are provided. With the system and method, custom JSP tags are utilized that generate JavaScript objects to provide the high-function browser widgets. The JavaScript objects, in turn, output HTML for use by a client side Web browser. These JavaScript objects have instance-level functions or actions that are encapsulated in the widget as well as a complete client-side model representation of the data also encapsulated in the widget object. These objects and actions are fully addressable by the developer via a getWidgetByID method on a global utility object. As a result, higher-level features and full inter-widget communication are achievable using the custom JSP tags of the present invention.

  • Patent number: 6252592
Abstract: Systems, methods and computer program products enable automatic tab scanning of graphically represented elements in program applications. Once a developer has designed a user interface for a program application having a tabbing order representing the sequence in which the visual elements in an application will receive focus when the tab key is selected by an end user, the visual elements may be automatically scanned to view, verify and modify the tabbing order of the visual elements, and the attributes and attribute values associated with each visual element. An entire sequence of visual elements, and the attributes and attribute values corresponding to each visual element, may be automatically scanned one at a time without requiring developer selection of the next visual element in the sequence defined by the tabbing order.

  • Patent number: 5764226
Abstract: An object-based component and system are presented which permits developers of multimedia applications to provide improved data entry interfaces for end users. The component includes a number of pre-built data entry interface styles for inclusion by a developer in an application. Each style includes a number of attributes having modifiable settings, and the attributes and settings for each style are easily extensible. A free style interface is provided which permits a developer wide latitude in developing customized data entry interfaces with relative ease.
