Abstract: A passive exercise bicycle comprises a frame and conventional motor attached to a stabilizing support surface. A bushing which drives a wheel attached to the bicycle frame is mounted on a shaft turned by a motor. The wheel in turn is attached by a conventional bicycle chain to the pedals of the exercise bicycle. The motor thereby drives the pedals to which are attached the feet of a person seated in a wheel chair positioned in close proximity to the bicycle. The bicycle carries easily accessible control switches for use by such person.
