    Abstract: A system for providing a secure, collaborative, and distributed computing environment as well as a repository for secure data storage and sharing, the system comprising: FHE manager software residing on a trusted client computer that is configured to generate and store encryption and decryption keys in a memory store; configurations manager software residing on the trusted client computer that is configured to track dynamically-changing cloud resources; an untrusted server in an untrusted cloud environment; a plurality of untrusted, physical, distributed processing nodes where no decryption or encryption functions occur at the processing nodes; a machine learning (ML) manager configured to manage ML algorithms in the processing nodes, wherein the untrusted server is permitted to perform cloud management but not trusted to manipulate the data in plaintext thereby enabling collaborative and secure processing, editing, and merging of the data.

    Abstract: A system and method that automatically detects anomalies in a cloud service system on an ongoing basis and which can be used to trigger live migration of cloud services includes a cloud server system configured to provide a plurality of virtualized cloud services through processes running over a set of virtual machines hosted on the cloud server system, and a processor which receives data related to the operations of the virtual machines and determines whether any of the virtual machines are exhibiting anomalous behavior. The processor applies a Kalman Filter to make predictions on the future state and covariance of the virtual machines and then calculates the log likelihood of the predicted values. If the predicted values deemed to be very unlikely, then the processor signals that an anomaly has occurred.

    Abstract: A system and method maximize the availability of cloud services in the event of a disruption to one or more cloud servers by automatically triggering the live migration of selected cloud services and automatically performing the triggered migration of such services. The operational state of virtual machines operating on a cloud server and the services that are associated with the virtual machines is monitored. Different techniques are used for deciding when to migrate cloud services based on the automatic detection of anomalies, for deciding what cloud services to migrate so as to maximize the availability of high priority services during migration under time and network bandwidth constraints, and for deciding where to migrate the selected cloud services based on a determination of the best location for migration.
