  • Publication number: 20170189742
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide an exercise or yoga mat either in one layer or multi layer configuration. According to an embodiment, the exercise mat includes a base layer having a pair of opposed flat surfaces, a pair of horizontal sides, and a pair of vertical sides, a plurality of structures protruding upward from an upper surface of the pair of opposed flat surfaces, the plurality of structures are of a predefined shape and extends up to a predefined height and are distributed throughout the upper surface of the pair of opposed flat surfaces in essentially uninterrupted fashion in order to provide a grip and a stimulating effect to hands and feet to a user exercising on the exercise mat, and a plurality of recesses positioned opposite to the positions of the plurality of structures and underside onto a bottom surface of the pair of opposed flat surface.

  • Publication number: 20060006821
Abstract: A system and method for implementing an LED-based luminaire (100) incorporates one or more color channels (32-n). The luminaire includes a controller (50) that uses optical sensing and feedback to control LEDs (30A) in each channel to deliver a consistent intensity and/or color output. The optical feedback loop may provide measured intensity and/or color of the luminaire's output to the luminaire controller. The controller may then adjust the current, pulse width modulation (PWM) duty cycle, or both, which are delivered to discrete color channels of the luminaire to obtain the desired intensity and/or color.

  • Patent number: 6673179
Abstract: A multi scrim non-slip pad has a first scrim which is coated with a first polyvinyl chloride product to encapsulate the first scrim therein to form a first coated scrim. The first coated scrim may then be partially cured in some embodiments. A second scrim is coated to form a second coated scrim. The first and second scrims are applied together and then cured to form a multi scrim non-slip pad having at least a first foam layer adjacent and external to the first scrim, a second foam layer between the first and second scrim, and a third foam layer external and adjacent to the second scrim.

  • Patent number: 6290381
Abstract: A unique fiber optic light fixture is provided which has a unique right angle design for ease of installation. The light fixture includes a molded housing which is lightweight, durable and compact. The light fixture is particularly attractive for lighting applications where space is at a premium and weight is an important consideration, such as the typical suspended ceiling in an office environment. The inventive lighting fixture provides “safe” and “cold” light as opposed to conventional heat generating lamps and ballasts, and may be mounted into walls, floors, ceilings, furniture, and any other space where exterior or interior lighting would normally be placed. The fixture includes a housing, wherein the interior has been coated with a metallic finish for reflectivity, a bezel for holding a variety of lenses and other optical accessories, retaining springs, and a brass nut bracket.
