The filter includes an endplate having snap features that interact with a groove in an inner portion of the shell housing. The groove may extend 360 degrees around an inner circumference of the shell housing. Accordingly, when the shell is unthreaded from the head service (e.g., during a filter replacement service), the shell only needs to be displaced the length of the inner radial seal interface between the shell and the head, not the entire length of the filter media thereby minimizing the stroke length needed to service the filter assembly.

The system comprises a holder comprising a clamp having a plate configured to apply pressure to the first container. A motor is configured to move the holder about at least one axis. The platform is configured for being removably placed within the holder and configured to hold the second container. Another embodiment of the system includes a stop placed proximate an edge of the platform.

Abstract: A container having a knit line. The container comprises a body defining a partially enclosed volume having an access opening defined by a neck, the neck defining a pocket. An insert is coupled to the neck. The insert comprises an outer wall configured to fit within the opening of the container and defining the periphery of the insert. The outer wall has an upper edge and a lower edge, with the upper edge including an annular lip extending radially outward to prevent the insert from being pushed too far into or through the neck. The tooth extends from the lip and is configured to insert into a notch defined by the neck of the container. An upstanding spout is located within the outer wall. A bottom wall connects the lower edge of the outer wall and the spout to form a channel between the outer wall and the spout.

The top includes an opening for dispensing the contents of the container. The substantially flat first side extends between the top and the bottom. The curved second side is located opposite the first side and extends between the top and the bottom. The handle is pivotally coupled to the body and moveable between a rest position and a use position. The handle is pivotable about an axis that is parallel to the first side and located between the first side and the second side. The handle is configured so that the handle moves from proximate the first side of the body toward the second side of the body when the handle is moved from the rest position to the use position.

An insert includes an outer wall configured to fit within the opening of the body and defining the periphery of the insert. The outer wall includes an upper edge and a lower edge. A lip extends radially outward from the upper edge to prevent the insert from being pushed to far into or through the neck. The lip is formed from a first material and includes an upper surface and a lower surface. The lip includes a second material formed over the first material. The first material being harder than the second material. A cover is threadably engaged with the neck. The second material contacts the neck sealing surface and a cover sealing surface when the cover is threadably engaged on the neck.

Abstract: An apparatus for holding a cover of a paint container is disclosed. The apparatus comprises a top, a base, and an intermediate member. The top is configured to engage the cover from a first side. The base is configured to engage the receptacle from a second side that is generally opposite the first side. The intermediate member is coupled to the top and to the base and is configured to maintain the spatial relationship of the top and the base when the top and the base are engaged with the container. The maintenance of the spatial relationship between the top and the base by the intermediate member when the top and the base are engaged with the container stops the cover from moving away from the receptacle during the shaking process.

Abstract: A torque indicator comprising a range indicator on a container. A visual indicator on a cap of the container, wherein as the cap is attached to the container, the visual indicator position relative to the range indicator shows extent of cap engagement with the container. The visual indicator and the range indicator may be molded on the container or may be a decal, stickers or label.

Abstract: A container cap for a container having a neck defining an opening into the container. The container cap comprises a lid including a top surface and a wall extending downward from the top surface. The lid is configured to engage the neck of the container and cover the opening. The lid is composed of a rigid material. A resilient gasket is integrally formed with the lid. The cap may have a wall including a threaded portion and an unthreaded portion with the gasket residing between the threaded and unthreaded portion.

Abstract: A system for containing paint is disclosed. The system comprises a body between a cover and a base. The system also comprises a handle configured for attachment to the body and selectively configurable between a first position and a second position. The system also comprises a locking mechanism. The locking mechanism comprises a protrusion configured for insertion into a recess of the body. The locking mechanism also comprises a tab of the handle configured for selective insertion into a track of the body. The locking mechanism is configured to inhibit movement of the handle in at least two planes when the handle is in the first position. A method of using a container for paint is also disclosed. A system for containing paint comprising means for locking the handle to the body is also disclosed.
