  • Publication number: 20070239692
Abstract: The present invention relates to a search engine which, in response to a search query, generates links to a set of documents relevant to the search query submitted by a user, associating an identifying logo for each of the generated links in the set of documents; and returning the generated links and the associated identifying logos to the user. An ordering component of the search engine embeds a hyperlink within the identifying logo or visual identifier for each of the generated links that are presented to the user, these logos or identifiers being miniaturized (“thumbnail”) renderings, that are ordered and presented in a visually concise manner on a singular document or page, for easy perusal by the user.

  • Publication number: 20060258436
Abstract: A gaming apparatus and method of playing a gaming apparatus wherein, with each spin, the player is afforded the option of effecting a singular spin of the reels so as to randomly generate one number which can be compared with a list of potential outcomes to determine if the player will win or lose, or of effecting multiple spins on a slot machine so as to randomly generate multiple numbers which can all be compared with a list of potential outcomes to determine if the player will win or lose. In this manner, the player utilizing the slot machine can “fast track” the game to jump directly to a greater quantity of favourable “winning” randomly generated numbers, in a shorter period of time, by virtue of the player being able to play multiple spins at one time.

  • Publication number: 20060255541
Abstract: A method of playing a poker style card game, wherein the dealer deals two “hole” cards to each player. The dealer then deals nine cards as the community cards which are arranged in two separate sets. One set of community cards is arranged in a North-South direction and the other set is arranged in an East-West direction, the two sets being intersected by one shared community card. In a preferred embodiment, the community cards are laid out in a “Cross” or “Star” shape or “+” or small letter “t” shape. All players can utilize the community cards, in conjunction with their “hole” cards, so as to form a poker hand. The winning hand comes from that player whose two “hole” cards best fit with one of the sets of community cards on the table, and achieves the highest poker ranking.

  • Publication number: 20060154736
Abstract: A golf course including a plurality of holes, where at least one of said holes includes a plurality of initial teeing areas displaced at similar, or different specific par distances from a target cup, and at different directions from a target cup such that plurality of teeing areas are disposed at different acute angles from the target cup, and encompass different terrain and different trajectories to target cup. A gold hole of the present invention comprises a target green encompassing a target cup, and a middle area between a plurality of initial teeing areas and the target green. • Publication number: 20030006555
Abstract: A method of playing a pai gow poker game in which, in addition to the usual seven cards dealt to each player and the dealer, a single player tiebreaker card is dealt for all players and a single dealer tiebreaker card is dealt to the dealer. The ante bet of each player is then paid off for winning and losing hands in the usual manner of a pai gow game. However, with push hands (where only one of the two-card hand and five-card hand of the player has a higher poker rank than the respective two-card hand and five-card hand of the dealer), the winner is determined by the higher value of the player and dealer tiebreaker cards so that no push bets occur.

  • Patent number: 6070875
Abstract: A method of playing a blackjack-type wagering game where the playing cards have ranks and suits. Initially, the dealer deals a hand to each player making an ante bet and the banker. This dealing step includes the step of hitting each player and the banker as desired thereby. Next, it is determined whether each player has a winning hand, a losing hand or a push hand. For each push hand, it is then determined whether a poker value of that push hand is greater than or less that of the banker's. Finally, the ante bet of each respective player is paid to (a) each respective player if each respective player has a total hand value considered a winner over a total hand value of the banker or for a push hand if the poker value is greater than the banker's, or (b) the banker if each respective player has a total hand value considered a loser over a total hand value of the banker or for a push hand if the banker's poker value is greater than the player's.
