Abstract: A valve tool for servicing a multiport valve having a handle and further having a spring located between a rotor and a lid of the multiport valve, the valve tool comprising: an upper support portion including a cutout shaped to receive at least a portion of the handle of the multiport valve therethrough; an opposing lower support portion; a press located on one of the upper support portion and lower support portion, the press shaped to contact one of the rotor and lid of the multiport valve. The press urges the rotor and the lid of the multiport valve together to compress the spring between the rotor and the lid of the multiport valve.
