  • Publication number: 20240113974
Abstract: Mobile management method, system and client. Method includes receiving a DNS query for a host name from an application on client; retrieving reputation data associated with host name from a local cache on client; and determining a policy based on host name and the reputation data. Based on determined policy for the host name, blocking attempted network flows to a host corresponding to host name to produce blocked attempted network flows. Method also includes sending attempted network flow metadata related to the blocked attempted network flows to a collector on client; transmitting the attempted network flow metadata from the collector to a VPN server pool via a VPN tunnel; and producing an anomaly report from the transmitted attempted network flow metadata. The anomaly report includes at least one of anomalies, cohorts, trends, location boundaries, detected network security issues, detected compromised clients and/or optimized network usage.

  • Publication number: 20230349282
Abstract: Systems and methods for operating mobile drill equipment including an auger. The system includes one or more sensors and an electronic controller. The one or more sensors are configured to monitor the mobile drill equipment while the mobile drill equipment performs a drill task. The electronic controller is configured to receive, from at least one of the one or more sensors, sensor data while the mobile drill equipment performs the drill task. The electronic controller is also configured to determine, based on the sensor data, a condition of soil proximate to the mobile drill equipment. The electronic controller is further configured to adjust a rotary speed of the auger based on the condition of the soil.

  • Patent number: 8987493
Abstract: The invention provides a method of preparing silane dipeptide analogs, comprising the steps of treating a solution of a substituted 1,2-oxasilolane with lithium metal to form a solution of the dilithium salt of a substituted 3-hydroxypropylsilanol, and reacting the solution of the dilithium salt of the substituted 3-hydroxypropylsilanol with a substituted enamine.

  • Patent number: 7933216
Abstract: A method and apparatus of transmitting a modulated data over a digital voice network that includes voice compression. The method and apparatus determine whether a voice signal to be transmitted over the network includes a modulated data signal and then encodes or demodulates the modulated data signal and bypasses voice compression when a modulated data signal is detected. The method and apparatus may detect a modulated data signal by detecting the presence of an answer tone and then searching for a plurality of phase reversals having a particular time distance from each other in the voice signal. Once the encoded or demodulated signal is transmitted over the digital voice network, the method and apparatus of the present invention may detect whether the received signal is an encoded data signal or a demodulated data signal. Then the coded data signal may be decoded back into a modulated data signal. Likewise, the demodulated data signal may be modulated back into a modulated data signal.

  • Patent number: 6498796
Abstract: A method and apparatus of detecting a tandem link and performing tandem tunneling when a tandem link is detected. The detection of a tandem link includes generating a HAIL and ACK signal where a voice compression unit on one end of the link receives the signals and generates an ACK signal for a voice compression unit on the other end of the link when the HAIL signal is detected. The tandem tunneling prevents the VCUs that comprise the tandem link from decompressing packets received on a network link, adds HDLC header information to the packet to generate HDLC framed packets on the subscriber side, removes HDLC header information from HDLC framed packets received on the subscriber side, and passes the unframed packets to the network side.
