Abstract: Provided in this disclosure is an actuatable quick changeover device stand for placing and removing a load from a bed of a vehicle. The device stand includes a traversable base having a planar surface for supporting the load and configured for rearward displacement off the open gate end of the bed. First and second support assemblies are mounted to the traversable base and configured to extend onto an underlying surface behind the open gate end of the bed to support the load. A pivoting support assembly is mounted to the traversable base and configured for pivoting into contact with the bed to support the load during the rearward displacement. An actuator is connected to the pivoting support assembly for inclining the pivoting support assembly toward the bed at a predetermined tilt angle with respect to the planar surface of the traversable base.

The coupling attaches the left and right sides of the push frame to the corresponding left and right sides of the lift frame, and each coupling being independently vertically floatable to allow the push frame to float vertically relative to the lift frame, while also allowing the push frame to rotate relative to the lift frame to accommodate for irregular or uneven ground surfaces. The couplings each include a bearing block that extends through an opening in the push frame and a retaining member that extends through an opening in the bearing block for operatively coupling the push frame to the lift frame. The bearing block facilitates distribution of load between the push frame and retaining member to reduce wear on the push frame.

Abstract: This disclosure is of an inventive low-profile LED headlight apparatus having an elongate light box and a headlight assembly that are synchronized with an integral strobe light assembly, which can be illuminated in a coordinated flash pattern. The headlight assembly has at least one addressable headlight lamp. The strobe light assembly has at least one addressable strobe light. These patterns can include alternating, patterned, or synchronized flash patterns. While strobe/warning lights are commonly incorporated into vehicles as distinct units, integrating them into plow headlights can eliminate the need for separate installation, in addition to allowing for more than one set of flashing lights. This apparatus also includes a controller, in electrical communication with the headlight assembly, and a selectively engageable port on one of the sides of the elongate light box for exhausting atmosphere within the elongate light box.

The locking mechanism may be configured such that a locking member is biased toward a lock position when an actuator is moved in a first direction beyond a threshold position, and the locking member is biased toward a release position when the actuator is moved in an opposite direction beyond the threshold position. The locking mechanism may include a plurality of locking members that are simultaneously moved between lock and release positions when the actuator effects such simultaneous movement. The snow plow assembly may include a stand assembly having a stand that can freely drop from an elevated position to the ground when actuated to release the stand.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for quickly mounting an accessory in the cargo bay of a truck is disclosed. Quick-mount devices lock onto tailgate pivot members of the cargo bay of the truck. The quick-mount devices may utilize locking tubes that extend laterally to engage the tailgate pivot members and secure the accessory, or retract laterally to release the tailgate pivot members and remove the accessory. In one embodiment the accessory is a dump insert. In a further embodiment the dump insert has stepped walls.

Abstract: A wheel chock having a wedge-shaped body and a recessed gripping member is provided. The wedge-shaped body includes a bottom surface for engaging the ground, a front inclined wheel engaging surface, a back surface opposite the front inclined surface, and opposite upright side surfaces. At least one of the opposite upright side surfaces has a recess, and the gripping member is disposed in the recess. The gripping member does not substantially protrude beyond the upright side surface having the recess for enabling an improvement in compact packaging and shipping costs associated with the wheel chock.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for quickly mounting an accessory in the cargo bay of a truck is disclosed. Quick-mount devices lock onto tailgate pivot members of the cargo bay of the truck. The quick-mount devices may utilize locking tubes that extend laterally to engage the tailgate pivot members and secure the accessory, or retract laterally to release the tailgate pivot members and remove the accessory. In one embodiment the accessory is a dump insert. In a further embodiment the dump insert has stepped walls.

Abstract: A coupling for a plow comprising a push beam attachable to a front of a vehicle. The push beam has at least one outwardly-extending plate at each end thereof. Each plate has an aperture extending therethrough. A support frame is provided that is attachable to the back side of a plow assembly. The support frame has two spaced-apart plates extending therefrom, each of the plates having an aperture therethrough. The plates are dimensioned to be positioned adjacent the plates on the push beam with the apertures in the plates being aligned. A locking assembly is provided for locking the support frame to the push beam. The locking assembly is comprised of a pair of axially aligned pins biased outwardly away from each other. Each of the pins has an inner end and an outer end. A linkage connects the inner ends of the pins. The linkage has a first position wherein the pins are retracted toward each other along the axis, and a second position wherein the pins extend outwardly away from each other along the axis.
