Patent number: 8857086Abstract: The present invention is directed toward a terminal marker used to identify a terminal block. The terminal marker includes a front having a print surface, a back, sides, and flexible legs. The flexible legs can be positioned in a natural state for installation in the terminal block or a compressed state for obtaining a marking from a printer. In the natural state, the flexible legs extend at an angle with respect to the print surface of the terminal marker. In the compressed state, the flexible legs extend outward beyond of the sides of the terminal marker.Type: GrantFiled: September 12, 2012Date of Patent: October 14, 2014Assignee: Panduit Corp.Inventors: Michael Scott Adams, David Scott Morrison, Jennifer Lynn Schwert

Publication number: 20140298419Abstract: A system for bridging user identities between at least a first and a second security domain, comprising a bridge associated with the first security domain for intercepting messages for service in the second domain from users in the first domain. The bridge authenticates the user identities against a local authentication source by using an established key relationship and binds a security token with the message. A gateway is associated with the second domain for gating inbound access and outbound communication with a service in the second domain and for receiving the authenticated message and verifying the authenticity of the security token by using a certificate of the trusted authentication source and authorising access to the service upon confirmation of the authorisation, such that the authorisation is independent of the identity of the user.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 2, 2013Publication date: October 2, 2014Applicants: CA, INC., Layer7 Technologies Inc.Inventors: Toufic Boubez, Dimitri Sirota, Scott Morrison

Publication number: 20140015224Abstract: An above-bed structure having two or more feet is attached into a bed of a truck using inserts which can be removed or retracted to provide a flat, unobstructed truck bed. Each insert includes an above-bed cleat portion and a below-bed peg portion which is received in a below-bed socket. Each insert is received first vertically without substantial rotation into its socket and then by rotation to a terminal point wherein the insert is vertically held by the socket. The above bed structure is then placed onto the inserts such that the feet mate with the inserts to prevent the inserts from rotating away from their terminal point, thus preventing the inserts from being removed from their sockets. The attachment can be completed by inserting mounting pins into aligned holes on the cleat portions and the feet. In one embodiment, the feet are supported on a bed place section of the insert which is offset from the rotational axis of the insert.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 9, 2013Publication date: January 16, 2014Applicant: CURT MANUFACTURING, LLCInventors: Cody James Leech, Kristopher William Schwennsen, Scott Morrison

Patent number: 8345056Abstract: A method for filling closed regions in a drawing using a region filling tool. Rather than selecting individual regions to fill, or filling based on style-by-layer techniques, the user creates a path or an area boundary to identify the regions to be filled. A graphics application may then fill each region that intersects the path or area boundary with a selected color or graphical style. In this manner, multiple regions in the drawing may be identified using one interaction with the region filling tool, allowing the user to more efficiently and intuitively fill regions in the drawing with the selected color or graphical style.Type: GrantFiled: January 18, 2008Date of Patent: January 1, 2013Assignee: AUTODESK, IncInventors: Michael Perani, Scott Morrison, Yan E. Publication number: 20120308756Abstract: A self-laminating rotating cable marker label is constructed of a transparent film having a first adhesive area, an adhesive-free smooth area, and a second adhesive area. A print-on area forms one side of the transparent film, the print-on area adapted to receive indicia identifying the cable about which the marker label is applied. A perforation extends across the transparent film providing a line of separation of the transparent film. When wrapped around a cable, the second adhesive area overlies the print-on area such that the cable identifying indicia is visible through the transparent second adhesive area. As the transparent film is wrapped around the cable, the first adhesive area adheres to the cable. The remainder of the transparent film is rotated, breaking the perforation, whereby the smooth area of the film in contact with the cable provides smooth rotation of the label around the cable.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 15, 2012Publication date: December 6, 2012Applicant: PANDUIT CORP.Inventors: Jack E. Caveney, David Scott Morrison, Michael Scott Adams
