  • Patent number: 10708645
Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, a system that performs operations including receiving one or more media processor commands generated by a voice processing system that synthesizes the one or more media processor commands according to voice data provided by a portable device by way of an adapter, and executing the one or more media processor commands to generate an updated presentation of media content. The adapter converts a first radio frequency (RF) signal to a second RF signal comprising the voice data, the first RF signal generated by the portable device according to a first RF protocol, the second RF signal conforming to a second RF protocol that differs from the first RF protocol, and the second RF signal comprising routing information to route the voice data to the voice processing system. Other embodiments are disclosed.

  • Patent number: 8016517
Abstract: A paired set of handles attaching to a board forming a concrete screed to minimize the strain on a person performing concrete finishing work allows for an ergonomic application of downward force applied to the lower end of the handles and application of an upward lifting force by the shape of the grip portion at the upper end of the handles, with the shape and contour of the handles requiring less strain and strength than current screed handles.

  • Publication number: 20060053995
Abstract: An apparatus for cutting a corrugated metal sheet is disclosed. The apparatus includes a table, a clamp assembly, and a cutting tool. The clamp assembly has a lower frame and an upper frame. A lower vibration absorbing pad is supported by the lower frame, and an upper vibration absorbing pad is secured to the upper frame such that the upper vibration absorbing pad faces the lower vibration absorbing pad. In an open position the lower and upper vibration absorbing pads are separated to permit the corrugated sheet metal to be positioned therebetween and in a closed position the corrugated metal sheet is clamped between the lower and upper vibration absorbing pads with at least one of the lower and upper vibration absorbing pads substantially conforming to the contour of an adjacent surface of the corrugated metal sheet.
