Abstract: An exemplary detection apparatus includes a housing having one or more sensors of one or more sensor types, an optional port for detachably mounting one or more of the sensors, and an optional motive system associated with a mode of transport for movement in an area of interest. A sensor circuit receives a signal originating from the one or more sensors, identifies the signal, optionally processes the signal data, and packages the raw signal data or processed signal data, as applicable, for transmission over a network. A control circuit establishes communication with the network for sending or receiving sensor data to/from other devices connected to the network, and controls the motive system for moving the apparatus to locations in the area of interest.

Hard points are attached to the net lines, three per hexagonal cell at every other node thereof such that in each cell there is a node without a hard point between two nodes with hard points and interior cells sharing hard points with all the cells surrounding it. A frame for the net spaces the net and the hard points from a target such as a vehicle.

Abstract: An RPG defeat system and method wherein a foam body is placed at a proximate a target. The foam body has a sufficiently low density to be pierceable by an RPG sensor without the RPG sensor being strained sufficiently to create a voltage. The foam body has a compressive strength sufficient to deform the RPG short circuiting a voltage pathway from the sensor to the RPG detonator. The foam body has a sufficient thickness and/or is spaced from the target to deform the RPG short circuiting the voltage pathway from the sensor to the RPG detonator before the sensor strikes the target and is strained creating a voltage.

Abstract: A protective panel and methods are disclosed wherein the panel includes a ballistic rear face and hard points in an arrangement at or proximate a front face. A foam core retains the arrangement of hard points and spaces the hard points from the ballistic rear face.

Abstract: A surrogate RPG includes a warhead with an outer conductive portion and an inner conductive portion spaced from the outer conductive portion. A sabot includes an electrical circuit configured to monitor conductivity between the inner and outer conductive portions. The surrogate RPG can be used to test the effectiveness of various RPG defeat technologies.
