  • Patent number: 11797006
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided to implementing a set of instructions related to a vehicle configuration template at a vehicle. Vehicle configuration templates may define instructions for automated vehicle driving parameters within a particular road region. The set of instructions within the first road region may correspond with a vehicle transition sequence based on the vehicle configuration template, where the vehicle transition sequence adjusts at least one of a vehicle position and dynamics to achieve a desired traffic flow.

  • Patent number: 11249480
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided to determine traffic configuration parameters, such as location and speed, that are correlated with optimal traffic flow specific to particular road regions. In a specific embodiment, the disclosure is directed to a vehicle positioning system which utilizes a multi-client server application model configured to perform predictive analysis based upon data collected from a plurality of data streams, infrastructure elements, and vehicles. In a particular implementation, roadways may be partitioned into road regions which may be associated with vehicle configuration templates. Vehicle configuration templates may define instructions for automated vehicle driving parameters within a particular road region. In a specific embodiment, the vehicle positioning system may invoke transition sequences based upon real-time traffic data to modify a given traffic configuration.

  • Publication number: 20220036662
Abstract: A server is communicably connected to a movement impeding means provided at a parking space. The server includes a controller configured to: upon detecting reservation of the parking space, operate the movement impeding means to prevent other vehicles from parking in the parking space; upon detecting approach of a reserving vehicle that is a subject of the reservation of the parking space, cancel operation of the movement impeding means to enable the reserving vehicle to park in the parking space; and upon detecting parking of the reserving vehicle in the parking space, operate the movement impeding means.

  • Patent number: 11028289
Abstract: Provided are adhesive articles that include a barrier layer that is substantially impermeable to oxygen gas at ambient temperature and pressure along with a heat-bondable layer, which could be a discrete layer adjacent to the barrier layer or integral with the barrier layer. The adhesive article further includes a backing extending across and coupled to the barrier layer and an adhesive layer extending across and coupled to the backing opposite the barrier layer. The barrier layer reduces or eliminates migration of plasticizers from the bonded seal into the adhesive article, limiting deterioration of tape performance over time.

  • Publication number: 20210049723
Abstract: A vehicle sharing service system for proactive marketing of a vehicle sharing service includes one or more processors, a network access device, and a memory device, wherein the network access device and the memory device are in communication with the one or more processors. The memory device stores a customer location module and a communications module. The customer location module causes the one or more processors to determine when at least one mobile device of at least one potential customer is located within a predetermined distance to one or more vehicles of the vehicle sharing service. The communications module causes the one or more processors to transmit offer information for using the one or more vehicles to the at least one mobile device of the at least one potential customer when located within the predetermined distance to the one or more vehicles.
