    Abstract: A vehicle seat adjuster includes laterally spaced track assemblies each having an upper track slidable fore-and-aft relative to a lower track and normally locked to the lower track by a latch adapted to be pivoted about an upright axis to an unlatched position. Pivoting of the latches is effected by manually turning an operating handle about a laterally extending axis, the handle being conveniently located adjacent and accessible from the outboard side of the vehicle seat.
