    Abstract: A dynamic pricing system that uses user inputs, variables and API Data from a Mercantile Exchange system to formulate an up to the minute asking price on a commodity listing is described. In one example, the system includes a computing device that is configured to execute a website application. The website application is configured to receive a request to display a web page for a client device and transmit an application programming interface (API) request to an exchange computing device. An API response is received from the exchange computing device with a first market rate. A price for the listing is determined for a first time period and displayed on a web page. A second API request is automatically transmitted to the exchange computing device for the listing in response to an expiration of the first time period.
