The hinge (301) has a release and position mechanism (303) aligned along the axis that secures cover (103) in the closed position and releases cover (103) from the closed position. The hinge (301) further has an opening mechanism (305) that urges cover (103) from the closed position to the open position. The release and position mechanism (303) and the opening mechanism (305) secure cover (103) in the open position.
