  • Publication number: 20120299367
Abstract: A method in which a brake system for a motor vehicle is controlled and/or regulated. The motor vehicle having at least one electrically regenerative brake and a pressure-medium-operated, in particular a hydraulic brake system with friction brakes, wherein the wheel brakes assigned to the individual wheels are arranged in at least two brake circuits which can be charged with a pressure medium by a first brake pressure generator, in particular a tandem master brake cylinder, and wherein each brake circuit includes at least one pressure accumulator and at least two electronically activatable hydraulic valves. During a braking process with the one or more electrically regenerative brakes, by suitable activation of at least one hydraulic valve, at a point in time, the pressure medium is discharged only into precisely one predetermined pressure accumulator. The invention also relates to a corresponding brake system.

  • Patent number: 8181403
Abstract: A roof vent has a base member adapted to be mounted on a roof, and a cover member for excluding water. The base member has a generally planar base having an outer perimeter and an inner perimeter, the inner perimeter defining a vent aperture. A water barrier wall extends upwardly from the base around the vent aperture for excluding water. A ventilated dome extends from the water barrier wall at least partially over the vent aperture. Generally triangular wedges extending outwardly from the water barrier wall, shaped to direct water flow away from the water barrier wall. The cover member has a top cover element with a perimeter flange extending downwardly, and is adapted to be mounted over the base member.

  • Publication number: 20120084133
Abstract: Methods and apparatus to distinguish between parent and child webpage accesses and/or browser tabs in focus are disclosed. An example implementation includes identifying an HTTP request; retrieving Page Info data from a browser; electronically detecting if the Page Info data and the HTTP request identify a same Internet resource; electronically classifying the HTTP request as a parent call when the Page Info data and the HTTP request identify the same Internet resource; and electronically classifying the HTTP request as a child call when the Page Info data and the HTTP request identify different Internet resources.

  • Publication number: 20110067485
Abstract: An improved method of testing the integrity of a porous filter is provided. The test method is an improvement over a gas-liquid diffusion test wherein the improvement comprises providing a conduit downstream of the filter and filling the conduit with a liquid, the conduit having a length to cross sectional area ratio selected to substantially resist diffusive flow of the gas through the liquid downstream of the filter material.

  • Publication number: 20060278656
Abstract: A valve assembly has a spout having a central opening in communication with an interior of the bag, and a circumferential interior sidewall. There is a sliding valve disposed within the central opening, the sliding valve having an open position wherein contents of the bag can flow through the valve, and a closed position, where the valve is sealed against the interior sidewall of the spout. There is a valve actuator connected to a dispensing apparatus. The valve actuator moves the sliding valve from a closed position to an open position when the spout is placed on the actuator, and the actuator moves the sliding valve from an open position to a closed position when the spout is removed from the valve actuator. The sliding valve remains in its set open or closed position until it is moved by the actuator. This arrangement prevents leakage of the container when the container is not being used in a dispensing apparatus.
