    Abstract: Embodiments provide techniques for illustrating and manipulating flight parameters communicated to an aircraft. More specifically, techniques disclosed herein provide a graphical user interface (GUI) that enables the adjustment of flight parameters via a translucent or transparent compass rose icon overlaid on a flight map, to intuitively select, transmit, and execute commands at an aircraft. For example, a controller may adjust one or more flight parameters, such as speed, heading, and/or altitude of an aircraft, such as an autonomous aircraft, by dragging an arrow icon around a compass rose icon displayed in connection with the aircraft on the GUI.

    Abstract: Shirred casing is packaged in pockets on a belt to assist in the stuffing of the shirred casing by an automated stuffing machine. The package is made up of a belt with pockets for the shirred casings. The pockets provide structural casings and are spaced evenly for automated handling. The auto mated stuffing machine has a strand drum with indentations to receive the pocket of the package. The strand drum acts as an indexing mechanism to position each successive pocket so that the shirred casings within may be stuffed. The strand drum moves between a stuffing position relative to a stuffing horn and an indexing position that is clear of the stuffing horn. The stuffing horn moves between a stuffing position and an indexing position that is clear of the strand drum. A method for automating the stuffing of shirred casings is disclosed as well.
