  • Patent number: 6796064
Abstract: An elongated tubular support (10) is mounted in a stationary position (FIGS. 6 and 7) for rotation about a horizontal (FIGS. 1 and 2) or vertical (FIG. 5) axis. A spring biased detent (66, 70, 72) is positioned between the support member (10) and a stationary mounting member (68). The detent (66, 70, 72) permits the display panel (DP) to be swung in position about a first position (FIG. 1) and a second position in which it is positioned about 180 degrees from the first position (FIG. 2).

  • Patent number: 6364262
Abstract: An upper clamp part (24) includes a downwardly directed upper clamp jaw (28). A lower clamp part (26) includes an upwardly directed lower clamp jaw (30). The upper and lower clamp parts (24, 26) are adapted to be connected together by a screw fastener (32), with a member positioned between the upper and lower clamp jaws. The screw fastener (32) connects the upper and lower clamp parts (24, 26) together and moves their clamp jaws (28, 30) into clamping engagement with the member (20, 22). The clamp parts (24, 26) include outboard portions that maybe sections of a T-bar (14, 52). When the clamp parts (24, 26) are connected together, and are clamped onto the member, the T-bar sections are in axial alignment.

  • Patent number: 6256912
Abstract: Identical side members (32) may be connected together by mortise (46) and tenon (52) structure to provide an elongated display holder (10, 22), preferably having a substantially triangular cross sectional shape. Corner structures (54, 56, 58) may be provided which include slots (70, 72) that confront each other and receive edge portions of display members (74). The side members (32) may include outwardly openings T-slots (76) which receive divider strips (82). The divider strips include oppositely directed slots (92, 94) which confront the corner slots (70, 72). This provides the display area on one side of the display holder with two parallel display regions for receiving substantially half width display members (96, 98). The display holder may be mounted horizontally (FIG. 1) or vertically (FIGS. 2 and 11). The side members (32′) may be laterally curved, even to the extent of providing the display holder with a substantially cylindrical shape (FIG. 15).

  • Patent number: 5560131
Abstract: A display holder (10) having first (14) and second (16) central panels joined together along an outer side edge of each panel to form a main body section (12) that substantially is V-shaped in cross-section. The first and second central panels (14, 16) are joined in a manner allowing the panels to be angularly deflected. The first and second central panels (14, 16) also each include a back side edge (22), wherein angular deflection of the panels (14, 16) causes the back side edges (22) to move toward and away from each other. A mounting bracket (26) is provided at the back edge (22) of each central panel (14, 16) for securing the panels to lateral sides of an upright structural member. The mounting brackets (26) are each secured to the back edges (22) of the panels (14, 16) in a manner so that the mounting brackets (26) can be angularly deflected relative to the panels (14, 16).

  • Patent number: 5448845
Abstract: An improved frame piece (300) for a display holder (334) including a pair of inner ridges (320) extending along the outer edges of center rails (316') of flanges (304, 306). Frame piece (300) works in conjunction with an elongated opening (326) in the upper region of center panel (324), wherein ridges (320) project into opening (326) to securely hold frame piece (300) to center panel (324).

  • Patent number: 5419134
Abstract: A display holder (10) is formed from a main frame member that is a single extrusion. The main frame member includes opposite edge frame portions (28, 30) and a center panel (10). Frame portions (64, 66) snap onto the ends of a center panel (10) to complete a frame that extends entirely about the periphery of the display holder (10). The display holder (10) may be mounted by a mounting member (44) which includes a hinge strip (92). Hinge strip (92) and a pair of mounting member flanges (42, 90) may be made by a co-extrusion process. A rigid structural plastic is used to form the flanges (42, 90). A bendable, resilient plastic is used to form the hinge strip (96). The hinge strip (96) will bend in response to a side force applied to the display holder (10). Hinge strip (92) will act as a spring and will swing the display holder (10) back to its at rest position when the force is removed.
