  • Patent number: 7335763
Abstract: Hammerhead ribozymes that target components critical to HSV replication (ICP4, UL20, UL30, and UL54) were synthesized and shown to efficiently cleave target RNA encoding a portion of these components in in vitro assays. Several cloned cell lines stably expressing these ribozymes were established. HSV-mediated plaque formation was dramatically reduced in cells stably transfected with an anti-HSV ribozyme compared to non-transfected cells.

  • Publication number: 20060029841
Abstract: Provided is a fuel cell having a selective CO oxidation catalyst with an electronically conductive, particulate support dispersed on a gas diffusion membrane, and a membrane electrode assembly. Also provided is a method of supplying a purified reformate gas to a membrane electrode assembly. The method includes contacting a reformate gas comprising H2 and CO with a gas diffusion membrane while simultaneously adding an oxidant to the reformate gas to convert at least some of the CO to CO2 to form the purified reformate gas. Dispersed on the gas diffusion membrane is a selective CO oxidation catalyst with an electronically conductive, particulate support. The purified reformate gas is then passed to the membrane electrode assembly.

  • Patent number: 6409171
Abstract: A method of play of a golf trivia game is provided in which a question category is randomly selected from among two or more question categories. A question is then directed from the selected category to a player. A random value is assigned to a correct answer, and a random value is assigned to an incorrect answer. A determination of the correctness of the answer is made, and the score is recorded depending on the assigned random value. Each player answers one question per round or hole, and the game is completed after a selected number of rounds have been played. By providing a score for each player for each round of questions, this method provides the same variety of ways of playing the game as the game of golf itself.
