Abstract: A multi-view device for use in conjunction with a display apparatus is provided. The device includes: a lens unit which operates to selectively transmit or block light; a communication unit which communicates with the display apparatus which is displaying a content image; and a controller which receives a beacon signal in synchronization with a display period of the content image from the display apparatus via the communication unit, controls an operation of the lens unit based on the received beacon signal, and changes a reception frequency of the beacon signal in accordance with a running time of the content image displayed on the display apparatus.

Abstract: Provided is a method of processing and transmitting transport stream packets and processing the transmitted transport stream packets. A time stamp is generated in a medium access control (MAC) layer based on time information managed by the MAC layer, and a data frame including the transport stream packets is retransmitted based on an algorithm different from that used for a general data frame when a transmission error occurs. Therefore, there is no need to transmit and receive additional synchronization packets in order to precisely transmit the transport stream packets between transmitting and receiving terminals, and it is possible to reduce performance deterioration caused by latency and jitter.

Abstract: Provided are a method and apparatus for supporting a multiband wireless fidelity (WiFi). The method for supporting the multiband WIFI includes: assigning a category and a frequency band for traffic, based on one or more characteristics of the traffic; packetizing the traffic in a media access control (MAC) unit corresponding to the assigned frequency band; and transmitting the packetized traffic by using the assigned frequency band in a physical layer (PHY) unit corresponding to the assigned frequency band.
