  • Publication number: 20030042096
Abstract: A cable management system includes an opposed pair of articulated A-frame support assemblies that are connected by a cable support platform, such as a roller. The A-frame support assemblies may be reach between an electrical system chassis and an equipment rack in a manner that permits the elevation of the cable support platform to change concomitant with extensile and de-extensile motion of the electrical system chassis relative to the equipment rack. This change in elevation manages slack in the cable to feed cable forwardly during extensile motion of the electrical system chassis and to pull cable rearwardly with de-extensile motion.

  • Patent number: 6315134
Abstract: An easily assembled wall-mounted shelving system, comprising at least two elongated standards secured to a wall, with each standard having a vertical axis and a plurality of slots; a plurality of end brackets to removably connect with said standards via said slots, said end brackets including gripping means for removably connecting the end of a shelf therewith, with such gripping means consisting of a clamping member, a clamping foot portion, or a screw fastener; and at least one shelf connected with said end brackets via said gripping means. The end brackets also can serve other purposes such as the support of book stops. The shelving system is suitable for mounting a single shelf and can be used with standard rigid shelving. Spacers located between the shelf and the wall so as to prevent swaying and rotation of said shelf relative to said standard axis are also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 6293414
Abstract: A wall-mounted shelving system comprising a plurality of elongated vertical standards secured to a wall, each elongated standard having a vertical axis and a plurality of slots; a plurality of shelf brackets removably connected with said standards via said slots; one or more shelves supported by said shelf brackets; and a plurality of side panels supported by said shelves and serving to enclose said shelves at their ends. Each side panel has means for easily and removably attaching to the ends of said shelves and thus said side panels are suitable for both new installations and retrofitting existing shelving. An embodiment of the invention formed from wire is also described.

  • Patent number: 6230907
Abstract: A wall-mounted shelving system comprising at least one elongated standard secured to a wall and having a vertical axis, with said standard containing a plurality of slots; at least one panel having fastening means on one edge of said panel to reversibly connect to said slots wherein said fastening means extend substantially the length of said standard; and means connected with said panel for storing and displaying items. Means for preventing swaying and rotation of said panel relative to said standard axis are also described as are slanted shelf brackets connected with said panel for supporting slanted display shelves. An embodiment is also described comprising at least two standards, at least two panels connected with said standards, and a shelf supported at its ends in spaced relation by and between said panels.

  • Patent number: 6152777
Abstract: Connector 10 mountable to a mother board for mating with a daughter card (80,90) at a card-receiving slot (14). Connector (10) includes at least two key-receiving sites (30a,30b) along the length of the card-receiving slot (14), and a pair of switching contacts (40) at each site that are normally in engagement with each other, completing an indicator circuit of the mother board. A key member (50) is affixable to the connector at a selected one of the key-receiving sites (30a,30b) and includes an actuator arm (58) that disengages the switching contacts (40), breaking the circuit. The key member (50) prevents insertion of a daughter card (90) that is not programmed by having a notch (82) at the corresponding location.

  • Patent number: 6119992
Abstract: A screw fastener clamp which can be securely mounted at selected locations along a shelf or similar structure includes a screw fastener, a rachet latch, a body member containing a slot for receiving the shelf, and a retaining portion for supporting such items as book stops, lamps and sign holders. Latch release means and means to prevent unauthorized use of said latch release means are disclosed, as is a separate retaining member positioned between the body portion and the shelf which allows the use of separate body member and retainer components and thus allowing these parts to be interchanged as desired for specific applications. Also disclosed is a screw fastener clamp having retaining means fastened to the screw fastener stud such that rotating said retaining means tightens the grip of said clamp on the shelf.

  • Patent number: 6044982
Abstract: A lever clamp which can be securely mounted at selected locations along a shelf or similar object includes a body member containing a slot for receiving the shelf, and a lever or clamping member pivotally connected with the body member which serves to clamp the clamp to the shelf when pivoted to an upright position. Items such as a lamp or dispenser, but not including a stop member, partition or banding and binning, are connected with the top of the clamping member to attach such objects to the shelf. A L-shaped body member is also disclosed in which a portion of the clamping member is connected with a stop member, partition, lamp or other item to attach said items to a shelf. Also disclosed are a flex member for the lever clamp which serves to increase the clamping force on the shelf as the load applied to the clamping member increases as well as latching means for the lever clamp and the previously disclosed clamping bookend. A one-piece lever clamp is also disclosed.
