  • Patent number: 11763669
Abstract: Systems and methods for real-time detection and mitigation anomalous behavior of a remote vehicle are provided, e.g., vehicle behavior that is consistent with distracted or unexpectedly disabled driving. On-board and off-board sensors associated with a subject vehicle may monitor the subject vehicle's environment, and behavior characteristics of a remote vehicle operating within the subject vehicle's environment may be determined based upon collected sensor data. The remote vehicle's behavior characteristics may be utilized to detect or determine the presence of anomalous behavior, which may be anomalous for the current contextual conditions of the vehicles' environment. Mitigating actions for detected remote vehicle anomalous behaviors may be suggested and/or automatically implemented at the subject vehicle and/or at proximate vehicles to avoid or reduce the risk of accidents, injury, or death resulting from the anomalous behavior. In some situations, authorities may be notified.

  • Patent number: 11727929
Abstract: Voice command matching during testing of voice-assisted application prototypes for languages with non-phonetic alphabets is described. A visual page of an application prototype is displayed during a testing phase of the application prototype. A speech-to-text service converts a non-phonetic voice command spoken in a language with a non-phonetic alphabet, captured by at least one microphone during the testing phase of the application prototype, into a non-phonetic text string in the non-phonetic alphabet of the voice command. A phonetic language translator translates the non-phonetic text string of the voice command into a phonetic text string in a phonetic alphabet of the voice command. A comparison module compares the phonetic text string of the voice command to phonetic text strings in the phonetic alphabet of stored voice commands associated with the application prototype to identify a matching voice command. A performance module performs an action associated with the matching voice command.

  • Publication number: 20230251914
Abstract: In examples, a device configuration is evaluated according to a set of conservation rules, such that one or more configuration recommendations may be generated. A configuration recommendation may be presented to a user of the computing device, such that the user may accept or reject the recommendation. If the recommendation is rejected, the recommendation may be presented to the user at a later time. In another example, a sustainability forecast may be obtained by the computing device, which may include estimated characteristics for an associated energy grid. The sustainability forecast may be presented to a user, thereby enabling the user to consider whether it may be preferable to use the computing device in one or more time periods that have a comparatively lower estimated environmental impact. A sustainability utilization metric may also be generated that is indicative of an estimated past environmental impact of the device.

  • Publication number: 20230251701
Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure relate to sustainability-aware computing device behavior management. In examples, a sustainability platform obtains sustainability information associated with an energy grid, as may be provided by a data provider. The sustainability platform may provide a sustainability forecast, which may be received and cached by a computing device. The computing device may use the sustainability forecast to manage various device functionality, such that functionality may be performed during one or more times that are identified to have a comparatively lower environmental impact, thereby deferring device energy consumption during a time forecasted to have a higher environmental impact. The sustainability forecast cached by the computing device may be updated on a periodic basis or in response to determining that the location of the computing device (and, potentially, the associated energy grid) has changed, among other examples.

  • Publication number: 20230232096
Abstract: Systems to extend signal transfer used with a camera device comprise a first location station with a first receiver and a second receiver. The first receiver receives wireless signals from a user device that are changed and sent through a fiber optic cable to a second location station. The second receiver receives signals through the cable from the second location station, which signals are changed to wireless signals output to a user device. The second location station comprises a third receiver that receives from the cable from the first location station, which signals are changed to wireless signals output to a camera device. The second location comprises a fourth receiver that receives wireless signals from the camera device, which signals are changed at the first location to signals sent through the cable from the second location station to the first location station.

  • Patent number: 11701028
Abstract: In one aspect, a computer-implemented method includes receiving a signal corresponding to impedance across a patient's chest cavity; filtering the signal using one or more filters that reduce noise and center the signal around a zero baseline; adjusting an amplitude of the filtered signal based on a threshold value; separating the amplitude-adjusted signal into component signals, where each of the component signals represents a frequency-limited band; detecting a fractional phase transition of a component signal of the component signals; selecting a dominant component signal from the component signals based on amplitudes of the component signals at a time corresponding to the detected fractional phase transition; determining a frequency of the dominant component signal at the time corresponding to the detected fractional phase transition; and determining a respiratory rate of the patient based on the determined frequency.

  • Patent number: 11680385
Abstract: A ride control valve includes a valve housing (30) having a main spool (32) longitudinally displaceably arranged in the valve housing, a balance spool (34), and fluid passage points for a pressure supply (P), a tank return line (T), an accumulator (14) and a boom cylinder unit (10). The balance spool (34) continuously balances the pressure between the fluid ports of the accumulator (14) and the boom cylinder unit (10). The main spool (32) is controlled by the operator and initially interconnects these fluid ports of the accumulator (14) and the boom cylinder unit (10), starting from a closed fluid connection, via a restricted fluid connection, to a fully opened fluid connection, or disconnects them from each other in reverse sequence.

  • Publication number: 20230166598
Abstract: A control system for a vehicle comprises a controller comprising a processor and a non-transitory computer-readable medium including instructions. The system comprises first, second, and third inputs configured to be manipulated by an operator. The system comprises first, second, and third displays adjacent the first, second, and third inputs, respectively. The first, second and third displays are configured to show first, second, and third indicia, respectively.
