Abstract: A foldable mirror assembly used to assist an operator to align a hitch on a trailer to the hitch of a vehicle while hitching a vehicle to a trailer, consisting of a base for mounting to the rear of a vehicle, support arms that pivot upwards and outwards to the rear of the vehicle, that support a convex mirror that is angled to give the operator a line of sight to the rear of the vehicle. The support and mirror components fold substantially flat to the base which enables the base to remain installed on the rear of the vehicle in the closed position while not in use. Alternatively, The assembly can be removably attached, and therefore folded to the closed position, and then removed and stored after using.
