  • Publication number: 20240132137
Abstract: An axially adjustable steering column assembly includes an upper jacket. And a lower jacket. The steering column assembly further includes a column mounting bracket, wherein the lower jacket is operatively coupled to the column mounting bracket and translates relative to the column mounting bracket, wherein the column mounting bracket defines a first set of tapered rail slots, each of the first set of tapered rail slots disposed on opposite sides of the column mounting bracket and extending longitudinally along the column mounting bracket, wherein the lower jacket defines a second set of tapered rail slots, each of the second set of tapered rail slots disposed on opposite sides of the lower jacket and extending longitudinally along the lower jacket. The steering column assembly yet further includes a first pair of sliding wedge bushings disposed within the first set of tapered rail slots.

  • Patent number: 11936264
Abstract: An electric machine includes a housing, a rotor rotatably mounted in the housing a stator fixedly mounted to the housing. The stator includes a stator core and a plurality of stator windings supported by the stator core. The stator core surrounds the rotor. A busbar including a plurality of electrically conductive members is coupled to the stator windings and an insulating cover extends across at least a portion of the electrically conductive members. A bracket is coupled to the busbar and one of the stator core and the housing, the bracket supporting the busbar in the housing.

  • Patent number: 8217259
Abstract: Enhanced efficiency solar cells and methods of manufacture of such cells are described herein. In an illustrative example, the solar cell includes at least one or more collector lens bars each of which extend on sides of front contacts and positioned over a respective active area of one or more active areas in such as position as to guide light onto the one or more active areas. A protective layer covers the at least one or more collector lens bars.

  • Patent number: 5813731
Abstract: A parking brake system for use on a railway car includes an actuator which is adapted to be attached to a service brake actuating lever arm of the railway car and to receive a flow of non-compressible holding liquid from a reservoir through a first valve unit. The first valve unit permits the liquid to freely flow to and from the actuator in a first position and only permits flow of the liquid towards the actuator in a second position. With this arrangement, movement of the service brake actuating lever arm automatically causes the actuator to be supplied with holding liquid from the reservoir, which liquid can be selectively retained by shifting of the first valve unit to the second position. Furthermore in accordance with the invention, the actuator can be shifted by supplying pressurized holding liquid thereto through the use of a motor driven pump circuit including a pressurizable reservoir.
