Abstract: A package system configured transport an item, for example, an electronic device. The package system includes a case having a case body and a lid moveably connected to the case body. The package system can include a suspension unit sized to fit in the interior space of the case. The suspension unit includes a base and a side wall that extends from the base in a direction angularly offset with respect to the base. The suspension unit includes a plurality of suspension elements disposed along the base and the side wall. The plurality of suspension elements are configured to bend so as to absorb impact forces applied to case in at least a first direction and a second direction that is angularly offset with respect to the first direction.
