  • Patent number: 6994259
Abstract: A device is presented including a processor having a main memory. The processor includes a state synchronization process. A state memory is attached to the processor. A display, an interface and a transmitting/receiving device are also attached to the processor. The state synchronization process transmits state data to the state memory and to an external device.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: December 30, 2002
Date of Patent: February 7, 2006
    Assignee: Intel Corporation
    Inventor: Scott W. Watters
  • Patent number: 6894683
Abstract: A stylus includes one or more stylus tips to initiate different mouse actions. The different mouse actions may be initiated by causing the stylus tip to generate disturbance signals on a touch sensitive device. The different mouse actions may also be initiated by using stylus tips of different characteristics with each characteristic associated with a mouse action.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: July 10, 2002
Date of Patent: May 17, 2005
    Assignee: Intel Corporation

  • Publication number: 20040119690
Abstract: A system and method to interact remotely with an application displayed on a display device are disclosed. A contact position of a light beam received from a light emitting remote device is detected. Position coordinates corresponding to the contact position are further extracted. The position coordinates are further processed to obtain respective processed coordinates for further transmission to a display device.

  • Publication number: 20040010560
Abstract: A method for remotely controlling operations of a target system using a host computer system includes displaying one or more applications executing in the host computer system on a remote controller system. A wireless connection is established between the remote controller system and the host computer system. The remote controller system causes an application executing in the host computer system to issue at least one command to control operations of the target system. The commands are received by the remote controller system and translated into IR signals. IR pulses associated with the IR signals are transmitted by the remote controller system to the target system.
