  • Patent number: 12298408
Abstract: A system and method are described for assessing accuracy of a virtual horizon generated by a vehicle-based lidar system as the vehicle traverses a route of travel. Travel route topology data is obtained by a vehicle vehicle-mounted global positioning system-assisted inertial measurement unit (GPS/IMU) data. A reference virtual horizon at points along the route of travel is obtained from the GPS/IMU data and is compared with the virtual horizon generated by the lidar system for the same points to assess the accuracy of the virtual horizon generated by the lidar system.

  • Patent number: 11753245
Abstract: A pharmaceutical container holder for holding pharmaceutical containers includes a receiver having an interior sized and shaped to receive and hold the pharmaceutical containers as a stack of pharmaceutical containers. The receiver has a removal location from which the pharmaceutical containers are removed from the receiver. A lift raises the pharmaceutical containers disposed in the interior of the receiver upward to move the pharmaceutical containers toward the removal location. A lift controller operates the lift to move the pharmaceutical containers upward toward the removal location after an upper-most pharmaceutical container of the stack of pharmaceutical containers has been removed from the removal location to move a subsequent upper-most pharmaceutical container of the stack of pharmaceutical containers to the removal location.

  • Patent number: 11494572
Abstract: The imaging system includes a rotating element that is configured to rotate about a central axis. A plurality of scanners are fixedly attached with the rotating element. Each scanner has a lens that faces generally towards the central axis, and the scanners are spaced apart from one another around the central axis. The scanners are configured to identify an optically readable machine readable code contained on the medication container. An actuator is operably connected with the rotating element and is configured to rotate the rotating element and the scanners around the central axis from respective e first positions to respective second positions to allow the scanners to image different areas of the medication container in response to a failure of the scanners to identify the machine readable code when the scanners were in the respective first positions.

  • Patent number: 10533695
Abstract: There is provided an expandable pipeline pig for a varying diameter pipeline having a pig body that carries two or more guides and one or more actuators. Each guide has a resilient body with a folding zone between an outer perimeter and a central area connected to the pig body, a series of support members spaced circumferentially about the resilient body within the folding zone, and a series of collapsing structures positioned between, and integrally formed with, adjacent support members. The actuators selectively release the guides from a reduced to an expanded mode. In the expanded mode the support members extend outward and the collapsing structures are expanded between the support members. In the reduced mode the support members are folded toward the pig body and the collapsing structures are collapsed to reduce a circumference of the resilient body outer perimeter. The support members are biased toward the expanded mode.

  • Publication number: 20070181186
Abstract: A fluid leak detection system includes a sensor, a control module and a valve module. The sensor is adapted to be placed near a fluid source, such as a water supply line of an appliance. The valve module advantageously includes a motorized ball valve or a magnetic latch configured to arrest fluid flow through a supply line. The control module actuates the valve module and an audible alarm when the sensor detects a fluid leak. The valve module closes a valve positioned along the water line to restrict flow through the water line until the control unit has been manually reset or until the leaked fluid has been removed. The control module also features user inputs to allow the valve to be manually cycled for cleaning, for instance.
