Abstract: Disclosed is a pharmaceutical composition, comprising about 2% to about 10% w/w ondansetron or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, about 10% to about 50% w/w of one or more solvents, about 10% to about 50% w/w of one or more skin penetration enhancers, about 1% to about 5% w/w of one or more preservatives, and about 1% to about 20% w/w of one or more gelling agents. Also disclosed is a method for preventing or treating nausea and/or vomiting, comprising administering (e.g., transdermally) to a subject in need thereof a therapeutically effective amount of the pharmaceutical composition, thereby preventing or treating the nausea and/or vomiting.

Abstract: Disclosed are new approaches for scheduling workers at remote locations. Work assignments may be organized into shifts associated with one or more workers and one or more recipients. Tasks are associated with the shift and have an updatable status. Shifts may be replicated by cutting and pasting or by specifying a recurrence definition. The tasks associated with a shift may then be replicated. The status of tasks may be updated using a voice telephony system. The status of tasks may also be reported from a computer located on the recipient premise. Text and/or voice comments and the task status may be accessible by managers, clients, and concerned parties from a web portal accessible using a computing device, such as a tablet computer. Special classification activities may also be automatically specified according to rules and associated with shifts and replicated shifts. Methods for automatically associating providers with shifts are also disclosed.

Abstract: A medical billing and records generating system is provided having a client/server communications system using a dedicated host/server to control a network and nodes, including client nodes, connected to the network, and server resident software and applications. The system produces completed billing and medical records forms, the substantive content of which is documented by the system before the form is generated, and which are not hand written and always legible. The system captures patient data at the point of its generation, incorporates it into a database. Database management software processes the data to pre-fill various template forms used for patient care in a browser application linked to the system via a client node, and permits pre-filled data to be amended to reflect current patient care data, and used to update the patient's record in the database. The system also retrospectively fills billing forms using previously verified patient data.

Abstract: A self-contained portable adjustable boundary marking system capable of use in a variety of athletic settings where a boundary, line, or demarcation is desirable is disclosed. The system is adapted for use indoors or outdoors, on hard surfaces or soft. The system is modifiable and adaptable, and capable of rapid setup and takedown, and the system is thus suited for use in a variety of athletic play and training situations. The system includes boundary markers which contain at least one extensible element such as a tape, string, cord, or cable that may be extended to any desirable length up to the maximum length of the extensible element and attached to other markers of the system or to the playing surface itself to delineate the boundaries of a playing surface or to mark some other meaningful line on the playing surface.

Abstract: A pocket closure device for facilitating retention of and access to items placed in a pocket. Specifically, certain embodiments of the present invention comprise an elongate resilient member disposed along a pocket and attached to a front panel of the pocket and to an outer surface of a bag. The elongate resilient member acts to bias the front panel against the outer surface of the bag such that the panel may be quickly and effectively accessed in a single movement. The biased nature of the front panel of the pocket also enables quick and automatic closure of the pocket to secure pocket contents.

The golf bag top and club separator comprises a perimeter support member having integrally formed tiered sections both along its longitudinal and lateral axes, a wood complex, an iron complex located opposite from and offset below the wood complex, and a plurality of strategically placed dividers therein to provide vertical disposition and segregation of wood-type golf clubs. Through its unique design, the present invention provides vertical segregation of the wood complex, thus providing optimal positioning, travel, access, and retrieval of golf clubs inserted and housed therein, as well as providing added protection of the clubs from one another. The wood complex is vertically segregated and positioned proximate or distal the body of the user.

Abstract: A switching system for connecting any one of a plurality of electrical circuits to any one of a plurality of test positions, wherein a central controller including a microprocessor directs, in a pre-programmed manner, all necessary switching functions. In the preferred embodiment, the electrical circuits are telephone circuits and the test positions include test ports positioned in various locations around a central office so that any of the telephone circuits can be accessed for testing from any of the test ports. The controller communicates with each of the test ports and controls switching units one at a time over a common control bus.
