  • Publication number: 20250032007
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided to provide guidance to a user regarding management of a physiologic condition such as diabetes. The determination may be based upon a patient glucose concentration level. The glucose concentration level may be provided to a stored model to determine a state. • Publication number: 20200172311
Abstract: A method for sealing a thermoplastic bag includes forming a first fold in a top end of the bag; forming a second fold in the top end that includes the first fold; folding the first fold to form a first portion of the first fold and a second portion of the first fold, the second portion of the first fold is folded onto the first portion of the first fold; and heat sealing the first fold and the second fold to each other and to a portion of the bag that faces the first fold, the heat sealing including applying hot air to the bag. Preferably the second fold has a height that is less than a height of the first fold such that the forming of the second fold folds the first fold to form the first and second portions of the first fold.

  • Patent number: 8041799
Abstract: A system, method, and medium for routing alarms based within a telecommunications network is provided. Status indications (such as alarms or element problem notifications) are received and a determination is made as to whether the status indication has been processed. If it has not be processed, then a data field state is evaluated to determine a routing behavior rule. If the status indication is an updated occurrence (not new), then a corresponding prior event is identified within a data structure, notified, and the second occurrence is routed to one or more data engines.

  • Patent number: 7945817
Abstract: A method and system for troubleshooting a communications network by recognizing one or more alarm patterns is provided. An incoming status indication (such as an alarm notification) associated with a network resource is received, whereby topological information associated with the network resource is referenced to identify parent(s) and sibling(s) of the network resource. A data structure is referenced to retrieve patterning criteria associated with the parent. The identified network resources are evaluated to determine whether the patterning criteria is met, and if so, then causing an alarm event, such as generation of a synthetic status indication, to be instantiated.

  • Patent number: 7818631
Abstract: A method and system for are provided for generating a ticketing report in a communications networking environment. The method includes receiving an alarm event that has a set of event attributes, which includes an event identifier; automatically evaluating the attributes against a set of ticketing rules; determining whether a ticketing report should be generated, and if so, then identifying one or more target ticketing systems; generating a ticketing message based on the alarm-event attributes and the identified one or more target ticketing system(s); routing the event to the target ticketing system, whereby the ticketing report can be automatically generated; receiving a ticket identifier that identifies the generated ticketing report; and associating the ticket identifier with the event identifier.

  • Patent number: 7636424
Abstract: A method and system for processing network trouble alerts is provided. A most important alert is presented, with the ability to view other status indications related to it. The method includes receiving a status indication, identifying a network resource associated with it, determining whether the resource is subordinate to another resource, which is associated with at least a second status indication, and if the resource is not subordinate another, then evaluating the status indication to determine if it should be presented to a user. If so, then automatically presenting the status indication to the user without user intervention.

  • Patent number: 7301448
Abstract: A system, method, and medium for deduplicating multiple status indications within a telecommunications network is provided. A first and second instance of a status indication is received, and a determination is made as to whether the second instance is a duplicate of the first. If it is, it is not permitted to proceed to alarm status. Multiple alarm occurrences are represented as a single display item rather than separate alarms if desired.

  • Patent number: 7259666
Abstract: A method and system for displaying status indications from a communications network is provided. Alert identifiers are provided that identify a communications-network alert to be presented to a user on a display device. A set of presentation attributes desired to be displayed with the alert are provided, and a plurality of data structures from which the presentation attributes can be gathered is identified. The presentation attributes are retrieved from the plurality of data structures, and inputted into a single presentation data structure, which can be the sole object of a data query used to retrieve information to be presented in connection with the communications-network alert.
