    Abstract: Systems and methods using registration marks to detect page mismatches when making physical books are described. The system can be configured to capture an image of a plurality of pages, analyze the plurality of pages to determine whether a page does not include a registration mark, and provide results of the analyzing. In one example, if individual pages of the plurality of pages include the registration mark, then the results can include a message indicating that the plurality of pages are associated with the physical book. However, if one page of the plurality of pages lacks the registration mark, then the results can include a message indicating that the plurality of pages are associated with at least two physical books.
