  • Publication number: 20240406687
Abstract: Disclosed are systems, methods, and devices for managing mobile devices used while collecting samples and capturing auxiliary data in the field. A sampling system may provide at-a-glance information on sample statuses, help with scheduling, and track locations of mobile devices. Locations may be obtained from lower-level software than a mobile application running on the mobile devices, so as to help ensure compliance. A mobile device may provide a mobile application that provides sample status in real-time and helps with the capture of data even without a network connection that enables uploading to a server. Because locations may be detected via satellites without requiring a network connection, the locations of devices are more reliable.

  • Patent number: 12141160
Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for performing in-flight transformations of data streams. Complex event processing (CEP) operating on event records from various data streams can operate by storing the streamed event record data in a database, and then querying the data to perform a data transformation. However, in order to improve the performance of the data transformations and streamline CEP, a serverless architecture is introduced that can perform data transformations directly on streams, using attributes of the streamed record data defined in a schema. The resulting transformed data can then be provided by the serverless architecture to the CEP for direct access of the data most needed by the CEP.

  • Publication number: 20240368577
Abstract: An immobilized enzyme fiber contactor includes a plurality of fibers disposed within a hollow conduit. The fibers have an enzyme selected from an oxidoreductase, a transferase, a hydrolase, a lyases, an isomerase, or a ligase attached thereto. The enzymes can be attached to the fibers via an anchor group and, optionally, a bifunctional crosslinker. The enzymes can be applied, stripped, and reapplied without disassembling the reactor or discarding the fibers. The immobilized enzyme fiber contractor can be used to conduct two-phase or single-phase enzymatic reactions.

  • Publication number: 20240348571
Abstract: Techniques for live location sharing are described. A first mobile device and a second mobile device can communicate with one another using an IM program. The first mobile device can receive a user input to share a location of the first mobile device in the IM program. Sharing the location can include causing the second mobile device to display a location of the first mobile device in an IM program user interface on the second mobile device. Duration of sharing the location can be user-configurable. The second mobile device may or may not share a location of the second device for display in the IM program executing on the first mobile device.
