Abstract: The present invention relates to a composition for preventing or treating diseases caused by mitochondrial dysfunction, containing, as an active ingredient, an isoquinoline derivative compound represented by chemical formula 1, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, and does not induce mitochondrial damage, unlike conventional mitochondrial toxins such as CCCP, and specifically and excellently promotes the activity of mitophagy to alleviate mitochondrial disfunction, and thus can be effectively used in the treatment of diseases caused by mitochondrial dysfunction.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an apparatus and method for encoding and decoding an image by skip encoding. The image-encoding method by skip encoding, which performs intra-prediction, comprises: performing a filtering operation on the signal which is reconstructed prior to an encoding object signal in an encoding object image; using the filtered reconstructed signal to generate a prediction signal for the encoding object signal; setting the generated prediction signal as a reconstruction signal for the encoding object signal; and not encoding the residual signal which can be generated on the basis of the difference between the encoding object signal and the prediction signal, thereby performing skip encoding on the encoding object signal.

Abstract: A portable terminal having input and display units used in a controlled manner according to a hinge unit for rotating bodies to expose/hide the units, as well as a method for controlling the portable terminal, are provided. The portable terminal has two display units and two input units adapted so that the display units selectively match the input units according to rotation of the bodies, and the method is adapted to control the portable terminal. The display units are operated based on each function so that they are more suited to multimedia environments, and the input units can be selectively used by the user for convenient use based on respective functions.
