    Abstract: A personal security alarm device includes a flashlight having a main housing with a bulb and reflector, a battery compartment and an actuation switch. A sub-housing is pivotally mounted in an L-shaped cut out portion at the lower front end of the main housing. An audible alarm is mounted in the main housing and is energized by pulling a handle to extract a contact pin from the housing and close a pair of electrical contacts.
