Abstract: A varying-width recess gate structure having a varying-width recess formed in a semiconductor device can sufficiently increase the channel length of the transistor having a gate formed in the varying-width recess, thereby effectively reducing the current leakage and improving the refresh characteristics. In the method of manufacturing the recess gate structure, etching is performed twice or more, so as to form a gate recess having varying width in the substrate, and a gate is formed in the gate recess.

Abstract: An LCD device for stably fixing a light-guiding plate is disclosed. The LCD includes a support main; a lamp provided along one side of the support main; a light-guiding plate provided in the support main opposite to the lamp; and at least one fixing device provided on an inner surface of the support main, to prevent the light-guiding plate from being moved. The fixing device contains multiple plates arranged in a C shape. Slits are formed in the center plate. An elastic plate is disposed between the slits and a projection is disposed on the elastic plate. The projection contacts the light-guiding plate. The support main contains a recess into which the projection moves when the light-guiding plate expands and the elastic plate deforms.

Abstract: An LCD device is disclosed, in which a lamp housing is formed of a reflecting sheet instead of a metal material, to obtain the simplified manufacturing process and to decrease the manufacturing cost. The LCD device includes an LCD panel; a light-guiding plate below the LCD panel; a lamp at one side of the light-guiding plate; a first reflecting sheet below the lamp and the light-guiding plate; a support main corresponding to an outer side of the LCD panel to support the lamp, the first reflecting sheet and the LCD panel; a second reflecting sheet between the lamp and the support main; a case top covering the outer side of the LCD panel and the support main; and a cover bottom below the reflecting sheet to be coupled with the case top.
