The temperature controllable high bit rate laser diode includes: a stem including a plurality of electrodes protruding in a form of signal pins and arranged in two rows; a thermoelectric cooler provided on the stem and controlling a temperature of the temperature controllable high bit rate laser diode; and a sub mount positioned over the thermoelectric cooler and supporting a laser diode chip, a reflection mirror, and a monitor photodiode measuring output light intensity of the temperature controllable high bit rate laser diode.
