  • Publication number: 20240073416
Abstract: The present invention relates to an apparatus and method for encoding and decoding an image by skip encoding. The image-encoding method by skip encoding, which performs intra-prediction, comprises: performing a filtering operation on the signal which is reconstructed prior to an encoding object signal in an encoding object image; using the filtered reconstructed signal to generate a prediction signal for the encoding object signal; setting the generated prediction signal as a reconstruction signal for the encoding object signal; and not encoding the residual signal which can be generated on the basis of the difference between the encoding object signal and the prediction signal, thereby performing skip encoding on the encoding object signal.

  • Patent number: 10541064
Abstract: A method of manufacturing a silicon carbide (SiC) sintered body and a SiC sintered body obtained by the method are provided. The method includes: preparing a composite powder by subjecting a SiC raw material and a sintering aid raw material to mechanical alloying; and sintering the composite powder, wherein the sintering aid is at least one selected from the group consisting of an Al—C-based material, an Al—B—C-based material, and a B—C-based material. Accordingly, a SiC sintered body that can be sintered at low temperature, can be densified, and has high strength and high electrical conductivity can be prepared.

  • Patent number: 9096474
Abstract: This invention relates to a mold for synthesizing powder, and particularly to a mold for synthesizing ceramic powder suitable for use as a mold system which is subjected to spark plasma sintering, which includes a cylindrical mold body into which a powder material used to synthesize ceramic powder is charged, and a pair of mold covers respectively disposed in contact with the top and the bottom of the mold body, thus basically suppressing the production of aggregates in synthesized powder due to pressing and also enabling the mold system to operate even when using a small amount of power, so that the system is prevented from malfunctioning and the power consumption thereof is reduced upon operating.
