  • Publication number: 20230230821
Abstract: The invention provides a method and system to remotely monitor a plasma (3) comprising a magnetic field antenna (2) positioned in the near electromagnetic field of a coupled plasma source wherein the magnetic field antenna is a magnetic loop antenna placed in the near electromagnetic field and measure near field signals emitted from the plasma source. A radio system (1) is utilised to analyse the low power signal levels across a wide frequency band. Plasma paramaters such as series, or geometric, resonance plasma and electron-neutral collision frequencies are evaluated via a fitting of resonant features present on higher harmonics of the driving frequency to identify arcing, pump or matching failure events, common in fabrication plasma systems.

  • Publication number: 20230200357
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for acquiring data from and communicating with a wearable device (e.g., a collar) affixed to animal are described. A wearable device affixed to a dog, for example, may acquire data and transmit the data to mobile devices or servers using one or several wireless technologies. The wearable device may also receive signaling, which may be indicative of commands to or feedback for the animal wearing the wearable device. The data acquired from the wireless device may be used for monitoring and communicating with an animal by, for example, generating reports, developing training or feeding schedules, or conveying relevant information to animal owners. Likewise, signaling sent to the device may facilitate interaction between an animal and the animal's owner, between the animal and its surroundings, or between multiple animals.

  • Publication number: 20230124283
Abstract: A cleaving assembly and a method for cleaving a glass rod and end cap having diameters of at least 125 ?m and a face at a desired angle greater than 0 degrees are disclosed. The assembly comprises a laser device for emitting a laser beam, a rotating device, and a positioning fixture. The rotating device has a head that rotates about a central axis that is orthogonal to the laser beam. The positioning fixture is operatively mounted to the head and centered axially along the central axis and is also rotatably driven by the rotating device. The positioning fixture has a tapered surface that is transverse to the central axis and that supports the glass rod at a predetermined angle relative to the central axis. Rotation of the positioning fixture about the central axis when the glass rod and end cap is exposed to the laser beam, cleaves the face at the desired angle.

  • Patent number: 11488689
Abstract: Servers of a clinical trial support network have digital data processors which execute an automated tracking and prediction model for patient engagement. The model is linked with an interfacing tool used by doctor managing a group of patients and an interfacing tool used by patients for real time capture of events. The system processes factor values to generate and track in real time a patient engagement index. The system uses the factor values to maintain a taxonomy of factor values. The system is also programmed to determine values of characteristics derived from the factors, such as a characteristic indicating time-based trend of a factor. Another advantageous characteristic is impact of multiple occurrences of a factor.
