  • Publication number: 20200064106
Abstract: A collapsible ballistic shield which provides a degree of protection against ballistic threats. The shield includes a head plate, an upper torso plate, a lower torso plate, an upper lock-and-release hinge joint, a lower lock-and-release hinge joint, a primary handle, and a strap-mounting fastener. The head plate is positioned opposite to the lower torso plate, across the upper torso plate to outline a shape of a body. The head plate is pivotably attached to the upper torso plate by the upper lock-and-release hinge joint. The lower torso plate is pivotably attached to the upper torso plate by the lower lock-and-release hinge joint. Resultantly, the shield may be collapsed, expanded, and broken down. The primary handle provides a grasping point and is mounted to a rear surface of the upper torso plate. The strap-mounting fastener allows the user to attach the shield to external structures.

  • Patent number: 10525683
Abstract: A panel laminator includes a first frame defining an outer boundary, the first frame operable to support a panel to be laminated and a first flexible diaphragm supported by the first frame to cover the outer boundary. The laminator includes a second frame sized and shaped to conform to the first frame along the outer boundary and a second flexible diaphragm supported by the second frame to match the outer boundary. The laminator includes a passage fluidly connected to the space between the first and second flexible diaphragms, with the passage configured to be coupled to a vacuum system in order to remove air from the space between the first and second flexible diaphragms during a lamination process. The first frame and the second frame are configured to rotate as a unit between a first, generally horizontal, orientation and a second, generally vertical, orientation.

  • Publication number: 20190277597
Abstract: A firearm accessory mount is an apparatus that maximizes the mounting surfaces on a firearm while allowing the interchangeability of a barrel onto and off of the firearm. The apparatus includes a left tactical rail, a right tactical rail, a gas-cylinder clamp, an upper tactical rail, and an elongated fixture with a transversal arc-shaped cross section. The left tactical rail, the right tactical rail, and the upper tactical rail allows for a variety of firearm accessories to mount onto the apparatus. The gas-cylinder clamp attaches the apparatus onto the gas cylinder. The elongated fixture braces the barrel while attached to the firearm. The arc-shaped cross-section of the elongated fixture allows the barrel to be replaced or a new barrel to be attached without altering the position and orientation of the firearm. The apparatus further includes a lower tactical rail that allows the mounting of firearm accessories beneath the gas cylinder.

  • Publication number: 20190276133
Abstract: An example floor panel for a flooring system in a passenger vehicle includes a top sheet, a bottom sheet, a body situated between the top sheet and the bottom sheet, and an interlocking feature that extends outward from the body for slidably engaging an adjacent floor panel. An example flooring system in a passenger vehicle includes a first set of floor panels including panels rigidly attached to a structure of the passenger vehicle, and a second set of floor panels and each floor panel of the second set of floor panels has an interlocking feature for slidably engaging an adjacent floor panel and for enabling lateral relative motion to occur and restricting vertical relative motion between panels of the second set of floor panels and a respective adjacent floor panel.

  • Patent number: 10198837
Abstract: A method of displaying a network graph with a computing system includes accessing data defining a network and including a plurality of vertices and a plurality of edges. If a number of vertices included in the network graph is below a first threshold, the network graph is locally rendering with a scalable vector graphics rendering engine of the computing system. If a number of vertices included in the network graph is between the first threshold and a second, higher, threshold, the network graph is locally rendered with a raster rendering engine of the computing system. If a number of vertices included in the network graph is above the second threshold, a remotely-rendered network graph rendered by a remote rendering engine is received at the computing system. The method further includes displaying the rendered network graph via a web browser of the computing system.

  • Patent number: 9126092
Abstract: A golf swing training aid with a target-line guide, a rail, a clubface guide and an upright assembly. The target-line guide provides a straight line for aiming at a target. The rail runs parallel to the target-line guide and has a bottom for placing on a golfing surface. The clubface guide is perpendicular to the target-line guide and provides a straight line for a clubface of a golf club to parallel with when the golfer sets up or when the clubface passes over, under or through the clubface guide when a golfer swings the golf club. The upright assembly is attached to the rail and is constrained along a straight line on the rail, where the straight line is parallel to the target-line guide and where the upright assembly provides the clubface guide. The target-line and clubface guide can be a rod, a string, a series of laser dots, or a laser line.
