  • Patent number: 9844975
Abstract: A method includes storing, in a database, different design templates. Each template includes (i) a print component configured to be printed and (ii) a foil component configured to be foil-stamped. The print component of each design template is associated with inner crop marks and outer crop marks. The foil component of each template is associated with alignment marks that are configured to be aligned with the inner crop marks for the respective template. Both the foil component and the foil alignment marks are embossed on a foil-press die.

  • Patent number: 9779448
Abstract: A system stores, in a database, different stock templates and also, for each stock template, a stock image to be displayed with the template. The system receives a user-designated image. The system then displays items simultaneously. Each item incorporates a different one of the stock templates along with the respective template's stock image. The system provides an image selector that is in a first position and capable of being switched by a user to a second position. Each time the user switches the selector to the second position, the system transforms the stock images in the displayed items simultaneously to the user-designated image. Each time the user switches the selector to the first position, the system transforms the stock images in the displayed items simultaneously to the items' respective stock images.

  • Publication number: 20170277364
Abstract: Electronic devices, interfaces for electronic devices, and techniques for interacting with such interfaces and electronic devices are described. To assist users in accomplishing a search and discovery system and process, electronic devices include a user interface implementing a filter mode in which search results of records are visually presented and dynamically refined to smaller sets of records. Users may interact with the device using touch-screen interactions, representing one example of a user interaction. The user interface may support a user in both entering filter options and applying them to records, while dynamically viewing and scrolling through the resulting filtered records, with multiple interfaces on the user interface remaining operable for user interaction and display of results at the same time.

  • Patent number: 8377884
Abstract: The present invention provides variants of C-type natriuretic peptide (CNP) comprising one or more deletions; additions of and/or substitutions with natural amino acids, unnatural amino acids and/or peptidomimetics (including peptide bond isosteres); amino acid extensions; and/or other chemical moieties such as, e.g., poly(ethylene glycol) and hydrophobic acids. The CNP variants are useful as therapeutic agents for the treatment of diseases responsive to CNP, including but not limited to bone-related disorders such as, e.g., skeletal dysplasias and achondroplasia, and vascular smooth muscle disorders such as, e.g., restenosis and arteriosclerosis.

  • Publication number: 20050263324
Abstract: A printed circuit board assembly employing a solder vent hole adjacent solder filled interconnect vias connecting to a conductive pallet, is disclosed. The solder vent hole allows gases to escape from an otherwise sealed cavity during solder reflow, relieving positive pressure and thereby allowing solder to flow into it. By providing an escape path for trapped air and gases generated during solder paste reflow, the out-gassing pressure and weight of the molten solder is sufficient to allow the solder paste to flow into the cavity.
