  • Patent number: 12656127
Abstract: Systems, methods, and apparatus are provided for compensating for an observation error when estimating a course of a road in an environment of a vehicle. A state function is obtained for mapping the estimated course of the road. Environment measurement data of the environment of the vehicle is obtained. Information about the observation error is captured. A transform is determined by transforming the state function or the environment measurement data based on the captured information about the observation error to compensate for the observation error. The estimated course of the road is adapted using the transform.

  • Patent number: 12637083
Abstract: Systems, methods, and apparatuses are provided for estimating a road profile in surroundings of a vehicle by using a state function that describes the road profile and a Bayes filter for adapting the state function based on surroundings measurement data. Sensor-captured surroundings measurement data is received. Information about an uncertainty regarding at least either the state function or the sensor-captured surroundings measurement data is received. The information is taken as a basis for adapting a state inaccuracy that influences an attenuation of the Bayes filter.

  • Patent number: 12570793
Abstract: A method for forming additive-containing reclaimed polyester can include: providing a feed of recycled polyester; providing a feed of polyester precursors; depolymerizing the recycled polyester to obtain depolymerized polyester monomers; polymerizing the depolymerized polyester monomers with the polyester precursors to form a reclaimed polyester; adding additives to the reclaimed properties to adjust for example, the color and/or viscosity, and providing the additive-containing reclaimed polyester as output.

  • Patent number: 12570293
Abstract: A method estimates a course of a roadway in a vicinity of a vehicle based on a state function describing the course of the roadway, wherein the state function includes a clothoid spline. The method includes providing ambient measured data describing the course of the roadway at a current position of the vehicle, where the ambient measured data includes a polynomial function. The method also includes transforming the state function and the ambient measured data into a common coordinate system, and checking the ambient measured data for an error. If no error is detected, then the state function is adapted based on the ambient measured data in the common coordinate system. If an error is detected, then the error is stored.

  • Publication number: 20260036277
Abstract: A lightbar with additional periphery lights for further functionality. The periphery lights can be operated through LEDs positioned behind the primary emergency lights of the lightbar. The LEDs can transmit light through a light transmissive material to the periphery. These periphery lights can be operated independently of the primary emergency lights to provide identification during non-emergency situations or additional information for coordinating emergency response.

  • Publication number: 20250320991
Abstract: A directionally manipulatable view enhancement apparatus including a fixed base, a rotatable support supported on the fixed base and rotatable about a pan axis, a yoke disposed on and pivotable with respect to the rotatable support about a tilt axis substantially perpendicular to the pan axis, a pan motor that rotates the rotatable support and yoke about the pan axis, a tilt motor that rotates the yoke about the tilt axis, and a first clutch between the rotatable support and the pan motor permitting the rotatable support to rotate relative to the fixed base independently of the pan motor or a second clutch between the yoke and the tilt motor allowing the yoke to rotate relative to the rotatable support independently of the tilt motor. The yoke retains an electrical component and the pan motor and tilt motor are in electrical communication with a controller remote from the fixed base.

  • Publication number: 20250296579
Abstract: Provided is a method for identifying a malfunction in a surroundings model that is used by an automated driving function of a motor vehicle. The method includes determining a first deviation between a target trajectory determined by the surroundings model and an actual trajectory travelled by the motor vehicle and/or a second deviation between a course of a road determined by the surroundings model and a course of a road determined by camera software; and identifying the malfunction based on the first and/or the second deviation.
