  • Patent number: 11893570
Abstract: A system is described to authorize a transaction using blockchain technology. For example, a transaction authorization system comprises a point of sale (POS) device, a mobile device, and a payment blockchain. The POS device can initiate a transaction by scanning one or more items to be purchased and generating a code comprising a transaction identifier and a total cost of the one or more items. The mobile device can receive the code and can generate a token comprising the transaction identifier, total cost, a selected payment method identifier, and a value that can identify an account of a person associated with the mobile device. The token is sent to a payment blockchain to authorize the transaction.

  • Patent number: 11836232
Abstract: A method and system of performing an authentication of a person in order to activate a smart card for access to a secured resource is disclosed. The system and method are configured to collect image data and compare the image data to facial model data stored on the smart card. The system detects whether there is a match between the image data and any facial signatures previously collected and stored in the smart card. If there is a match, the system verifies an identity of the person and can be configured to automatically activate the smart card for a limited period of time.

  • Patent number: 11837085
Abstract: Methods and systems for a graduated process of increasing bandwidth and increasing complexity to identify and confirm a location of a target vehicle based on information received from motor vehicles are described. In one embodiment, a method for detection of a target vehicle includes requesting, from one or more remote devices in a geographic area, information associated with a target vehicle. The method also includes receiving, from the one or more remote devices, information associated with the target vehicle. The method further includes determining whether the received information associated with the target vehicle matches the requested information. Upon determining that the received information matches the requested information, the method includes increasing at least one of a bandwidth or a complexity level of the requested information associated with the target vehicle and decreasing the geographic area associated with the request.

  • Patent number: 11663686
Abstract: A system and method for verifying a driver seated in a driver's seat of a vehicle is disclosed. The method includes scanning a license of the driver seated in the driver's seat of the vehicle to obtain a driver profile and detecting biometric information of the driver using one or more sensors in the vehicle. The driver profile includes biometric information. The method compares the detected biometric information with the biometric information of the driver profile to verify that the license of the driver seated in the vehicle matches the driver seated in the vehicle. The method may notify a provider computer system as to whether the license of the driver matches the driver seated in the vehicle. The method may adjust vehicle components based on preferences of the driver profile.

  • Patent number: 11659085
Abstract: A system and method for applying a generative voice associated with a particular customer service representative to an automated bot that initially interacts with a customer to provide a seamless handoff between the automated bot and the particular customer service representative is described. In one embodiment, when a call from a customer is received at the customer service call center, the customer is matched with a potential customer service representative that is likely to handle the customer's call. The customer will then initially interact with an automated bot that has applied a generative voice associated with the likely customer service representative. The customer can talk with the automated bot using the generative voice and, if needed, when the call is handed off from the automated bot to the customer service representative, the customer will not notice a change in voice or other discontinuity on the call.
