  • Publication number: 20040136795
Abstract: A laser centering mechanism of a drilling machine includes a support ring fitted around a support tube disposed right above the drill, first and second laser modules disposed on an edge of the support ring, and first and second adjustment combinations for holding the support ring around the support tube, and respectively for adjusting orientation of the first and the second laser modules relative to the tube. The laser modules are equipped with such lenses that laser lights emitted therefrom can form respective straight light lines on a plane thereunder, and the light lines will intersect to form a centering point on the plane. After rectification, under which the intersection is adjusted to be right under the sharp end of the drill, a predetermined point of a workpiece, on which a hole is to be drilled, can be easily positioned right under the drill precisely owing to the intersection.

  • Publication number: 20040136796
Abstract: A laser centering mechanism of a drilling machine includes a clamp ring fitted around a drill chunk of a drilling machine, upper and lower knobs, and two laser modules. The clamp ring has several spaced upwards-sticking flexible plates, and several downwards-sticking flexible plates. The knobs are fitted around an upper end, and a lower end of the clamp ring respectively. The knobs are securely screwed to each other so that inner annular portions thereof make corresponding flexible plates tightly and securely pressed against the drill chunk. The laser modules are fixed to an inner edge of the lower knob, and are equipped with such lenses that laser lights emitted therefrom form intersecting straight light lines on a plane under them, which will form a centering light point on a central axis of the lower knob in rotation of the present mechanism together with the drill chunk.

  • Publication number: 20040095312
Abstract: An infrared remote-control laser pointer capable of emitting a pointing light spot is provided with an infrared transmitter to work with a receiver electrically connected to a computer. By selectively pushing one of two push-button switches externally provided on the laser pointer, an encoded infrared signal is emitted and transmitted from the pointer to the receiver. When the transmitted infrared signal is decoded and determined as a correct signal, a signal emulating a mouse-controlled page up or down instruction is input to the computer via a USB interface to perform the page up or down function on the computer. Thus, a user may independently, quickly, and correctly control the computer to page up or down while using the laser pointer to report in a briefing or teach in a classroom.

  • Publication number: 20030014872
Abstract: A pocket-sized picture hanger for use in building construction and interior decoration to locate and mark a desired position, mainly includes a base provided with leveling means, and a cover pivotally connected to a top of the base and provided with a light beam projecting means for selectively projecting horizontal or vertical linear beams. The base could be adjusted to a completely horizontal position by adjusting the leveling means, so as to ascertain the levelness or perpendicularity of light beams projected from the light beam projecting means.

  • Patent number: 6066023
Abstract: A yo-yo with laser emission means mainly includes two side covers each defining a hollow space for accommodating a middle disc therein. The middle discs are provided at their outward-facing surfaces each with a seat for separately receiving a laser emission means and a light-emitting means therein, and a battery room for accommodating serially connected batteries. The laser emission means and the light-emitting means have terminals led to the batteries. When the yo-yo is manipulated by a player to rotate at a high speed, the terminals of the laser emission means and the light-emitting means contact with electrodes of the batteries due to centrifugal force and are energized by the batteries to emit laser beams and lights, respectively. The laser beams continuously project from an opening provided on the side cover and toward different directions and the lights illuminate the yo-yo, making the yo-yo particularly distinctive in the night or at a dark place.
